Although I use to say that I don't care for points or stats (and I really don't), I must admit that my KDR sucks, and it bothered me. Since my debut on Dogfight, I played all the time (almost 20 months) with more deaths than kills - in other words, my general KDR was always less than 1/1.
It always let me a bit down... until I bought a decent tablet (Google Nexus 7 2013) some months ago. This amazing tablet (no publicity intended) let me to be able to see red planes from a bigger distance than when using my old 4" screen Galaxy S2 - and it finally allowed me to have more kills than deaths in a more frequent basis - most of time with decent per-game kill/death ratios of approximately 3/2, 2/1 and even some good 3/1 or 4/1. Actually, in some short games, I even manage to make 8/1, depending on my enemie's skills airplane's speed.
This "KDR-Recovering-Mission" of mine lasted for about four months, and on March 24, 2014, precisely at 19 hours 36 minutes (Brazilian hour), for the first time ever, I managed to reach a general KDR of exactly 1/1 (10,168 K and D). It was so remarkable for me that I took a screenshot of it (I am too lazy now to transfer it from my phone to PC and publish it on a server).
Please don't laugh; I will never get the amazingly insane KDR achieved by some great pilots like 420 (KDR of about 5/1) or Calle (about 8/1!!!) - but for me, given the circumstances, a humble 1/1 its quite an accomplishment! And if, lets say, 2 or 3 years from now, I manage to reach a 2/1 kdr, I am DONE.
But for a while, the hardest part of this long journey will be to try to mantain the status quo, keeping my Kills bigger than my Deaths for as long as possible - so, please, Davy, Blue Max and Desert Rose, please REMEMBER THAT, you bullies!!!! ("I'm crying now"...)
