War and rumor of war... Always the same. My worry is that our leadership is unable and unwilling to handle anything even remotely challenging. I am basically an isolationist, but because I am American, I want us to come out on the good end of whatever situation may arise. Others on here from other countries, I totally expect you to feel the same way about your countries. In this situation, I hope our morons that someone else voted for stay the hell out of most of this, because I don't believe they have the backbone to carry us through to a positive end. In the mean time, for the innocents involved (whoever they may be) I wish them safety, happiness, and a brand new cell phone.

How's that for bitter?

Who knows? It can always get worse. For the average guy, things aren't too bad. We are just more informed and have more to worry over. I guess my goal is to make it so that maybe my kids and grand kids (someday) can make it through without ever experiencing anything like the Holocaust, or anything down that line. Beyond that, if you believe in the Bible, the story doesn't have too fun of an ending for those of us down here. For those that don't believe all that, then a tip of my hat to whatever your end game is.

My worry on this particular mess is that the current cast of clowns screw up and find a way to make it worse. Yea, I'm all about backing up our allies and whatnot, but so often we do the impossible for the ungrateful. If that's going to be the case, screw 'em and let 'em rot.
Either way, any real change has to come from within. If anyone truly wants the U.S. to be involved in anything, they better have some serious skin in the game already.

Wonder who fed me truth serum today?

I fully believe the Bible which is fully clear about the things which will happen. You're right, we are more informed and things tell me things are heating up. I do feel sorry for those who don't believe..it'll be pretty difficult for them.

Ok, I certainly didn't see the 'R' word coming up but maybe I should declare that i am a not a believer so I don't actually understand what you're getting at? Is it that believers know that they will move on to a better place and the non believers would be afraid because they don't believe in the other side?

That's a genuine question so please don't attack me.

Much of what I believe about the future is shaped by my (R word). But, as I know many see things differently than I do, I'm more than happy to be respectful of whatever others choose to believe too. But, I can't give you a serious opinion without being honest about who I am and why I feel the way I do. Like it? Awesome. Disagree? Awesome. But you'll never have to wonder about where I'm coming from. In Mike's case, he'll have to speak for himself.

To directly answer your question, IMO yes. Sorry if that offends you or anything, but you asked. With that said, I'm totally aware of the fact that there are millions and millions who disagree with me, and have their own "endgame" or none at all. While I'm more than happy to share my beliefs, answer questions to the best of my ability, and so on... I don't believe it's my job or duty to chase the world around with a club in one hand, and a bible in the other. On the contrary, I question my beliefs everyday. So many who will try to beat you over the head with (R word) either do so because they are afraid to question their own beliefs, or want to control someone. I don't fit into either category. In all honesty, if my belief system turns out to be correct, I'm only getting in based on my belief, acceptance, and forgiveness. Beyond that, they'll never let me near the place.

Ok. You know my email address. I am more than happy to talk about all of this, but we know the big R word is generally frowned on around here. Feel free to ask whatever whenever that way if you want.

WE NOW RETURN TO YOUR SCHEDULED PROGRAM.

i don't know why anyone would want to spend the rest of eternity next to something that torments children with disease/dissabilaties and destroys families.
I pity them to have to sit next to such a being.!

VLADIMIR PUTIN, you stated several things that are happening and it's all true, the world is becoming a very unstable place and I believe 2014–15 are going to be very bad years. Our leadership is void and our government is highly corrupt and I mean all of them, our military is being gutted and we are morally bankrupt. Whereas other nations are embracing capitalism and thus growing in leaps and bounds we are embracing nothing but a socialistic entitlement society. We have enough oil and gas to last well over 100 years, I think we should be self independent of other country's and bring everyone home and just take care of our country and especially rebuild our infrastructure, and quickly to. At least those are my opinions.

Hi HEFF, i just wanted to say that GOD doesn't create all those bad things, don't forget that evil exists in this world. You bring up a good point but it's hard to answer that. All I can say is I believe when a person dies one of two things will happen you will either spend an eternity with GOD or an eternity without. I choose to spend it with the good lord. Your question can be explained but not here.
