Hi

Dogfight 4.4.49 has several random fixed in all platforms. It is the new standard version for all and hopefully the last one before the big 4.5 update. Fixes includes:
- Random crashes on Android game center.
- When the achievement button is pressed, you will see now unlocked achievements. Soon you will also get points for those previously unlocked achievements so don't hesitate to begin unlocking them.
- You will get push notifications now, when important events happen in the game.
- You will get also notifications when a friend of yours on facebook joins the game. You will also get points for inviting your facebook friends and they will get them for accepting your invitation. Just hit the Facebook button on main screen to find out how many accepted.
- Several water/shadows fixed.
- Several random problems with keyboard, joystick, gamepad and screen joysticks.
- Whole bunch of Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8 fixes, including the ability to purchase points.

During the next 48 hours at some point 4.4.49 will be a mandatory update. I'm waiting for Apple to release it to the public.

Seems like a Dream that another update is out for Windows that fast.
Can't find the Achievement Button.
I have another problem. I am using Windows 8.1
When I first started the game in December, I signed up with Facebook. and then I dont know what happened but had to reinstall the app and then Facebook Connecting Service didn't open and then I used EMAIL for signing up which I use till now and will always use. But when today I updated to 4.4.49 and signed in with Email, it gave the option to link with Facebook with your current Pilot (which I did). But now the app is using my Facebook account which is "Level 2"(which I made in December when I first started using this Game). While my Email account is "Level 25". I don't know what to do. But can You do something that I can use my Email Account which can be linked with Facebook(as the popup said to Link with Facebook without losing your current Pilot name).

My Email Account's in-game name is [LF]Killer

I can't load it on my Samsung galaxy tab 10.1 (GT P7500 running droid 4.0.4). I load the game, I get the splash screen then it's black. Tried reboot, uninstall etc. Get the optimisation screen then it goes black again.

For now I can't do much. You should remove the game and login with the one you use the most. Don't link it to facebook since it will always use facebook as the highest priority. I'm working on a system that will allow you to chcose or merge accounts but right now it is not ready.

If its still doing there is something you can try in that same area that you were in to determine version a couple things I believe on right side of screen and that is to clear cache and data then exit out reboot tablet then reload DF you may need to re enter you email and such but let it whirl should all come back.

I've tried 4.4.49 on my HTC one I can play bit when I try type I only get the number pad, no letters so I can't type

Is there a way to get the update for windows 8.1 without access to the windows store? My windows store isn't working properly (though I tried everything), and it seems a whole system restore is now the last option. The system will not let me on without the update. Please help.

I might be wrong, but is there a way to access the windows store online? Like the web instead of the app tile?

Pretty fast turn around for apple. Just got the update and so far I like it. Lag was not as bad in carrier missions, but there was still some. Water looks cool. Zep mission was lost by protect team and don't know why. Zep was at german base about to bomb and still had one engine when game was over. Later shoot zep mission went normally with Germans killing the zep before it reached the base. Capyutre carriers were good and bomb base went fine with no glitches. There was some lag in one btb game that was pretty bad. All in all i like it.

On my end, the updates/game never completes the download. I'm considering going back to smoking.

I have the same problem with the same tablet (Samsung galaxy tab 10.1, GT P7500, Android 4.0.4). After installation of the new DF version, it starts to optimize reaching "optimization done, enjoy the game". After that the screen becomes black. I already reinstalled DF a couple of times, deleted the cache, rebootet the tablet, etc. without sucess. Any chance to fix that?

Hi comet, sorry to say almost 2 weeks on still haven't got it working. Same issues as you see. Tried all combinations of reboot, reinstall, etc. Waiting for the next update to see if that fixes things

Got the apple update, all seems fine. Been running it a few days now.

I've been grounded since the update too, but I'm using windows 8.1. When I try to download I get an error 0x80073cf0 message. All other apps download and work fine.

@hlfinn google that error, there are a whole bunch of post on that on google with different apps

about the samsung galaxy tab... i'm sending an update right now. I hope it works because I have no clue what's causing it to crash. I tried to find one of those samsung tablets on stores but it is old and i can't find it anywhere. It seems to be a bug related to android 4.0.3 and 4.0.4, it won't crash in any other android version.

@hammer did it fix it?
