Well, finally the Amazon update is out. Go get it to fix all those issues with the tank, funky screens and such.

Servers are now fixed and upgraded since we all will have the last version beginning today.

Also, Microsoft finally let the Windows update go through! This means it won't be discontinued. Nevertheless I has a bunch of bugs since it now works with joysticks too. If you are using Windows or plan to use Windows, consider:

1) Windows 8 will be declared obsolete any time. If you want to play Dogfight in Windows you need to upgrade to Windows 8.1. It is free. It is faster. It is way better. Just go to the "store" icon on your current Windows 8 and get the update there.
2) I will try to release another update for Windows 8.1 today. Dogfight now supports joysticks/gamepads and left behind some ugly bugs (basically I replaced a chunk of code by mistake). Right now the tank and soldier won't respond to screen touches, you can use the cursor keys or your gamepad instead. This will be fix on the soon to be out update.

In short, I'm happy. Finally all major platforms have the latest version!

I m using Windows 8.1. Everything is good except that Game lags over water and Base appears a moment after spawning.

I've alway's played DF on win.8.1 , but reinstalled game today and now all the buttons on xbox controller have different functions (not a big deal ) The real problem here is I can't get to the sensitivity screen in settings is anyone else having this problem?

I too got the same problem. i suggest you to completely uninstall dog fight as per below mentioned procedure.

Run Windows Powershell Command with administration command

1. Get-appxpackage –Name *part of package name*
e.g. > Get-appxpackage –Name *dog*
2 remove-appxpackage FEF09289.Dogfight_1.1.0.24_x86__djayc63bxkq60 –confirm
Remove for all users account to completely remove the package

after removal, reinstall the same and I do hope that your game pad keys will be back.

i noticed that the acceleometer controls are backwards in windows 8.1 after update is there a switch or something to change settings tilt forward back goes left right. asus t100 if you need futher info let me know i did uninstall and reinstall from within windows normal proceedure.

get the update from the store for 4.4.49, it will fix those calibration/accelerometer issues plus many others.

Did the update win 8.1 accelerometer fixed, still having a time no response from Logitech 3D pro, have uninstalled and reinstalled not sure if there is procedure or process to get joystick to be recognized any help appreciated. Do have Logitech software installed but no settings done for 3D pro as don't know where the exe file is to be found for DF. Also feel free to PM or respond to this quote for more info I'm at work till 4 but get messages.

I don't have a Logitech 3d pro so I have no idea. The system uses the standard windows api so it should in theory work with any gamepad/joystick. All you have to do is plug it in before starting the game.
If it doesn't work... no clue then. I have no way to test it without that device.

I still cannot adjust sensitivity what am I doing wrong?

I guess I should chime in. I got the update also on a 8.1 PC. No issues at all and now I do not feel so bad for shooting down so many reds.... Before I was afraid I had some sort of advantage over them, now I know it was just them whining...

It updated automatically, and with no hiccups.
