My opinion is that we should leave (geo) politic and its consequences out of this world game, or may be wait a little that these events become historical facts to discuss them between us here.

Interests on all sides, western and russian are economical only with various other reasons given
To cover up this fact. People dont really matter much.

The media can and will exaggerate a conflict or decrease its importance as dictated by their respective govt.

i think that the US and EU should do anything to protect ukranian sovernty. i also think russia has no business in ukraine
