I have had my fill of its: lag. Maybe some is lag, but the device you use should not give you an advantage. It appears it does. The designer of the game should ensure that no device has an advantage over another plane.
Planes are flying around at speeds that are unrealistic. They dart from side to side. They hover....they disappear and reappear. They appear from out of nowhere. You cannot hit them. And yet they shoot you down very easily. Some planes make some of the most unrealistic shots I have very seen. I look at their game stats, as we play, and they have 20-30 kills. No wonder.
Enemy planes get shot down and reappear right in front of you, at your base. What happened to getting shot down and having to start at their base?
I shoot a plane, it flames and the screen registers 6 hits on the plane and nothing happens. They just fly by you, turn on a dime, and shoot you down from behind.
I have also reported something else that is very strange. I line up a plane, firing right on their spot and all of a sudden my line of fire moves sharply off to one side. I have not moved. And I cannot get my line of fire back on line. It as if the system is preventing me from lining up again. I am fighting to move line of f
I am not exactly who you are addressing this too, but want to ask some questions and make some comments.
We all know that Zup made this game available across many different devices. While there may only be "two" different platforms(i use this loosely), there are more devices than I can imagine that
do effect the way people play the game. There is no way around this. Even if it was a strictly PC game, the guy with the better PC (memory, graphics, network card, etc) is gonna have an advantage over the one with very basic setup.
So, if Zup was gonna make it "fair" who's device is going to be the singular device he only lets people play on? I think its fair to say that we all enjoy playing the game and with anything in
life, we have to just roll with the punches.
The question part of this is wondering if you notice this on just certain players during a game, or if it seems across the board? Also, have you asked them if they are noticing the same thing? I have had it done to me, and its been done to people I play with. I choose to keep on playing, or sometimes I just log out and go into another server. It usually fixes the issue and everyone involved gets to keep playing.
Its one thing to report the issue and move on. But thank God Zup has some thick skin because if I were him by now I'd done walked away from it all. All the griping and complaining and everyone wanting things to be perfect is unrealistic.
Do not take all of this the wrong way Stuart. I am simply trying to get you to see things from the other side of your frustration. None of us are entitled to any of this game. It is a gift that Zup has given us. Please do not be one of those, "if I cant have it then no one can" kind of people.
