How come when I was attacking a carrier with no enemy in sight or on the map ,a red dot appeared on my map way behind me then shoot across at supersonic speed to get in front of me to shoot me down. Is someone cheating , if not where can I a buy such a plane.

Nobody is cheating, and no in-game plane can fly that fast.

This just looks like common lag. To the player, he flew from Point A to Point B normally. But because of signal lag, your system didn't update his movement, making it seem like he "jumped" rather quickly from A to B.

I do hope you are right , I can't stand cheats. The plane in question did not jump I actually saw it fly past me at enormous speed and turn to face me....never seen lag like that before. I will keep my eye out for that particular pilot and hope never to see the same thing again.

It happens to me all the time too Pagen, it is definatly lag, no one is cheating.

When your enemy spawns onto carrier, they appear on the other side of the map. As they take off, the server suddenly realises where they actually are, causing the little red dot on your map to shoot across at lightning speed, and then the red plane suddenly appears in front of you, already emptying every round they have into you.

What I do is when I see that red dot shooting across the map, I start twisting and turning, so you don't get hit by there lag bullets. Then when there plane appears straighten up and take them out.

It's annoying but but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy

While we're talking about strange planes, what's up with the dual engine plane I saw on the Dogfight Facebook page? Is that thing actually available? Who do I have to wake up next to if I want one?
