This is just a heads up thread, but more importantly, I'd like to hear some strategies that could help me and especially noobs who come in to level 8 and up server who still don't fully understand how ctc should be played to win. The bombing the hangars approach is not the objective and may confuse players, it's CAPTURE the carrier. Here's an example:
Last night Ziza and I entered a ctc mission and there were 2 reds. Immediately one of the reds, forgot his name it began with a p though,P started bombing our hangers,so I said don't bomb hangers.he replied with a ??, I left it at that and he stopped. It remained 2 on 2 for a while.then a very high ranked Moraf(within top 20)shot me down near my base, this happened 3 more times after respawning,I eventually shot him down and I raced to carrier. It wasn't until I landed on carrier that he started bombing hangers. I didn't expect a high ranked Moraf to do this and game was over.
This seems to be quite popular now and hopefully will be fixed soon. Until then be on gaurd, esp noobs,this is teaching them to do the same. I like ctc missions, but a now hesitant to enter one.
So we eat crow,suck it up and move on right?right!I now will be prepared if I'm on a carrier and a red is bombing my base to auto destruct and hopefully re spawn in time to get him. I have messaged one of his squad members who is an honor to fly with and let them handle this.
Another idea would be to kindly let others know in new ctc to not bomb hangers.
Let's hear some more ideas to counter this.

Yeah not sure what to do when hangars are there to be bombed. I'll confess I've finished 2 dog fights by bombing hangars. I'm not sure it's it's a deliberAte inclusion or a bug, but it mat change the dynamics. Do you now need to leave someone to defend the base? Not sure.

Zuperman said it is a bug and will be fixed very soon. It is just bad sport and not playing the real game that its ment to be by bombing non protected hangers. For the longest time my device did not even see hangers and it looked like people bombed empty fields but received hanger hits. It is totally lame to bomb hanger in a dog fight are you kidding me? its a dog fight mission not a bomb mission. if you suck that bad and cant handle a dog fight play some bomb mission or just sit on chat but don't ruin the game for people that actually play the intended game. It is even more lame when the real suck ass pilots actually tank hangers in a dog fight mission. The definition of ASS HAT loser and I will never respect them for any reason. People forget that pilots in this time actually had honor and dignity and respect but what cant ever expect that from people these days it more rare then common.

Well since the hangars ARE NOT visible to all devices bombing hangars to win a mission is tantamount to CHEATING!
And to ruin missions with clearly stated objectives (CAPTURE the carrier/BOMB THE CARRIER[NOT HANGARS!]/DOGFIGHT) is clearly wrong.

Oh I can win a dogfight 15-0 that's not a problem. In the past there has been mixed games e.g. zep and ctc or DF and zep so it was a bit of both. Once I realised not everyone could see the hangars I stopped.

Yes bomblng hangers in a ctc mission is just plain bad form can wait for them to be removed

At first I was also wondering how people can be bombing hngars that arent even there, they dont show up on my laptop. I have been in too many games now where where all some people wanted to do was end the game and gain extra points by bombing... That is one of the main excuses I hear from people. "Free points". I guess they are free points but that isnt the objective in the game. I was playing in a bomb the carrier game, but us blues were literally just defending our airport base the whole time because there were 2-3 reds just trying to get the hangars! I hope this gets fixed too because almost every game I play now that doesent involve bombing a hangar, is ended because someone wants free points

@Trey : with all due respect when someone make a mistake and confess it on forum, no need to be agressive.

Be courteous between us is certainly as much important as dropping camping etc ...

We have access to this forum to learn and share the rules we want to be acceptable for this game, so thank you very much for this thread, and that suppose either that some mistakes are made before, so when a old timer confess one, it is respectable as well.
