I made this thread to post pics of military aircraft of any era, preferrable interesting ones. Hopefully, it'll serve to teach those not knowledgeable about aircraft & motivate them to learn more about the planes they see. Please don't argue about this plane is better than that one or which would win in a fight. Those arguments are hypothetical & irrelevant anyway. Feel free to discuss the aircraft themselves though.

I'll start. There are many great warbirds, but few can argue against the P-51D being absolute thoroughbred perfection. This one is in Germany...ironic?
