Is it cheating to have a name like ( . Name)? The planes are hard to see. So I aim for right below the middle of the names. What's your opinion?

Not cheating, tactical advantage. Use their rank insignia as you mark and go straight down from that

And if it's a MOM, aim straight below the "o"

No I don't think those are cheating names. But the guys with .!. . . *^* ¥. Things like that

I can hardly see them. If there is more than one red coming at you these guys are invisible. The rank insignia is difficult to see in many situations. At one time it was possible to use only characters which would not show up in game. Zuperman fixed that.

I'll take those over (SQUAD)/CALLSIGN\[RANK-WITHIN-SQUAD] any day! Too visually disruptive in game, to me at least.
