. I've tried talking to the Mod Squad to maybe improve relations between them and some players here, Many of you have made comments and now even a thread you want it stopped. Ok. Say it here.. To me.. And I'll stop.... And when you start bitching about how your being treated unfairly by ONE or more Mods, you'll only need to come here to remind yourself what you wanted... I don't have time for this with trying to get my wife's dad back home. I've already been 28k getting this done (5k to his common law wife before she would release the body) and getting threads locked without explanation..

So you the community tell me here. You want me to stop this quest for transparency in moderating or not.

If you say stop. I will.

If you say keep going I will.

I don't want you to stop the quest for better transparency. But I do want you to back off the jabs, because that's robbing credibility from an otherwise worthy cause. I do understand the frustration, but I really think that there's a more productive way to get what you want. The jabs make people defensive, and they dig in.

My two cents, cuz you asked, and I appreciate the general direction of transparency. Not total, just more than now. A lot more, actually. As much as I was able to give when I was a mod.

Oh and I do think some patience on your request is needed. In my experience with modding issues, the mods would need time to get their minds in the same place. We demand consistency, and they are individuals. Individuals need time to figure out their conclusions, otherwise they look disparate and un-united. And a volunteer group, IME, takes even more time. Patience.

Sorry about your real life stuff. They take priority over any of this. Condolences to your wife and you, and your families.

Dave I'm really sorry to hear about your father in law, and I can't even imagine what you and your family are going through right now. Save your strength and use it to take care of you and yours. We and your cause will still be here when you have taken care of everything. Give your wife a big hug and know that you will be in my (and probably many more dogfighters) thoughts.

Ok folks, here's the deal, I have fault this fight before with same results, many here have complained and said they would voice their opinions. Where as I requested all stand down on my threads, Here I asked for a show of hands for support. 5 had the balls to show, 2 seemed to be on the fence but show they did. So, I can read between the lines. I've learned it from wife she does it all the time... So I'm done here. This attempted discussion with the mod squad is over. They are not willing to listen if it involves change and one man can not make these changes. Especially when the mods have all the power. Before I go, I'd like everyone to note who apparently refused to put his 2 cents in the pot...Zuperman... It gives the appearance that this game has moved from The Golden Child to that more fitting The Red-haired Step Child. I will no longer lead these fights,discussions,movements or others on these or other topics as I see it when it reaches a point that threatens mod powers and they or ONE see change in the distance threads are locked or out right deleted without any explanation. Again I'm done here and will post nothing more about it and may move on... I'm undecided as yet not that it matters but only to I.

Doc. Real sorry to hear of your life troubles, you have made it apparent that this game/Forum and how it is handled needs to be reviewed. I will strongly agree with you, this mood of "old timers gone amuck" has been pushed a bit over the top. It can be very stressful to be the guy to make a stance. Many took a step back and listened. I also think we all have learned this layout of moderation duties and courtesy would help in the future.

Can you be a bit more considerate or sensitive with your post? The thread starter's trying to get a point across on a rather serious matter while having to deal with a personal matter as well. Your attempt at humor is appreciated but methinks you're a bit off on this occasion...

Actually, a mod removed his post, since regular members are not able to delete posts, just edit them. Anyway, nicely said.
