A reflection upon my introduction to this game we all play if you will. Just my memories and thoughts from my first game to the most recent.

I found this game in the iTunes store and downloaded the free version being an aviation enthusiast, looking for something that compared to similar flight simulation games I have played. Within a few hours I was hooked and immediately bought the full version.

I jumped right into multiplayer without going through the practice option. I was immersed into the world of dogfight as an aspirant immediately. No segregated servers as we know it now and introduced to upper echelon players.

I flew the lowest ranked aircraft and had my tail rudder handed to me, flew against Morafs, not knowing what Moraf meant. Flew into the ground as I learned to control my plane. Time and time again I was shot down, time and time again I got up to fight.

I found ways to get around, sneak, go high, fly around the map. I didn't have much of a choice as I could not afford to buy points for the better planes. I played and learned how to get points, pissed off quite a few people in the process.

As I played against these players who's skill was above mine, it forced me to find ways to play with more skill. When I began to play this game, you died or survived.

What I have realized is that I have forgotten that core lesson and like many have become complacent.

That's how I remember it. I will admit that I just bought my planes though. Sadly, I'm not even playing now. This game has tried to be too much to too many and now I don't think it works well for anyone anymore. I've lost my patience with it completely. I'm still on the forum just cause I like most of ya, but I think the game may be hopeless now.

I remember the same things and as everybody thought I was a Doctor and some still do ;) I found myself in the crosshairs a lot. Apparently they owed their Doctors money and I was the next best thing to vent on  but I made it and I still enjoy it....some. But I do like the forum, It's funniest when the 29yo virgins try to start s**t with squads....
I could care....But I dont

I started just 2 short months ago & have to say I LOVE IT! Despite all it's faults & glitches & the trolls in World Chat & the antics of a few players (GoG just being one of 'em) I still love this game and wish I had found it much earlier.. & I would have liked to have seen the train and village that don't exist anymore either.. oh well, it still is a whole lot of FUN!

Think I started back in 2012 don't have much time to play I work a lot but this winter past month I've been playing more still have much more to learn but really like game even if I still can't figure why I get hit as much as I do I've spent money on planes because can't seem to get that many points or figure out how to still also figuring if iPad mini 1rst Ed or nexus 7 or t100 is better know one thing I'm 53 and my eyes ain't seeing how someone can do on a phone lqtm. But I keep trying while weather cold and yard work about month away wish search could steer me toward answers quicker I'm leaving questions nobody answers but assume people have lives too. Any who great game thank everyone for all the work on it and the posts I'll keep playing when I can and reading.

Joined around month and a half ago, actually started playing a month ago! Really enjoy it but don't find a whole lot of time to play it. Same as ZebraUp, I would have liked to see the old town though, and just in general find the game sooner.

I am very thankful to all the people that have shown me different tactics and how to do different things, like aiming in parachutes and tanks...so much easier after discovering that!! Haha :)

I like flying planes but most games like this move way to fast for me to keep up, I'm from Delaware I'm 53 and like something to take my mind off work and other stuff, I like the chat I get to ask things on the fly and jump over to the forum to read what someone Reply to me on I do wish I'd found sooner and hope to keep finding time to learn more and get better. Thanks to all involved, really.
