Well, someone is a little button-happy IMO. I was explaining that the POINT of the TGOG two-headed struggle was to MAKE UP for something the MODERATORS didn't get DONE.

A little more explaining, a little less DELETING, THAT'S what I always say. Boy I am usually on the side of the moderators, but this one has got me torqued.

And no, I'm not the impostor. Though I think he/she is brilliant in the way that the forum is finally banding against TGOG's abuse in a unified and humorous manner instead of TGOG bullying each individual and getting away with it. Remember, it was a TWO WEEK BAN that wig imposed on TGOG, that expired in one day, that Kevy rebanned, that expired on the second day, to which the mods said Sigh Let's Forget It. All that time, TGOG was mouthing off to individuals in a bullying way, so the people with pitchforks finally had it and thank goodness TGOG started conflicting with his own self. It was hilarious to see the impostor make a laughing stock of a bully. If the mods would just LEAVE IT ALONE TO RUN ITS COURSE, both TGOG and himself would have left town.

But No. Gotta impose yourselves. You guys make me sick to my stomach with your big and bad over-control. My opinion. Ban my arse.

Not banning people that needs banning ,not muting people that need muting and world chat is the worst thing that has happen to this game. So how does deleting threads help. My two cents.

Um...I didn't reban gog? I just said if Wig wanted it to last 2 weeks it would! lol. I don't know about deleting stuff...I didn't and don't know who did.
On the mod bashing I would say. We are trying to keep the same game standards that were in effect for ...years now. Some grown ups want this place to be a part of the playboy mansion. Because they and most of their friends are so worldly they believe this forum should be also. This is a place for everyone so it tries to adhere to the 13+ rating it has. We have PM's and emails and kik and google+ and many other means to express things not fit for the 13+ crowd. There is room for all here. If we respect all.

You don't have to break a PG 13 rating to be a harassing toolbox. There should have been some moderation long before now in this. Like yellowing out GOGs name. Look at the unrest and discontent this has all caused.

If you only knew how many get muted. World chat is a portal right into the internet filth. People used to being vulgar come in there and think that is what the internet is about. Being vulgar is considered funny and hip. There are very few places where everyone is welcome. This game is one of them. It does it's best to be everything to everyone. There are public places here and private ones. World chat is an entrance to this world and a place where we try and educate new players to the game. I know I will be typing "Please watch your language here" on world chat. We don't monitor Squad chat for language (hint). Forum language is also kept in line. PM's are not unless we get a complaint. PM's are NOT a place to harass someone. NO means NO.
I have been called so many names by players who want this game to be "THEIR WAY". Guess what? It doesn't sway or bother me in the least.
This is a beautiful place for all to have fun! Just respect others in the public places. The World Chat. The Forum. Most important the Game itself.

I'm not getting into this one, its one of those situations where I agree with all of you, at least in some way.
I only stopped by to point out that a banned user on this forum can still send private messages - that's not banned.

If someone who has been recently PERMABANNED (hmm?) has sent you any HARASSING (hmm?) PMs, you should forward the message(s) to a moderator for consideration. Perhaps leaving the PM capability was purposeful to allow a channel for communication, or perhaps it was an oversight. Either way, mods should know about any abuse.

It all seems to be how you view it. Not taking sides here but looking at it impartially.
You declared war on laggers. Fair enough nobody likes it. Including most laggers themselves. Some here want absolutely no vulgar statements. This is earth not someones promised land. Some get fanatical about droppers. Some are fanatical droppers. Some hate sneak attacks. Some work at becoming expert sneak attackers. Some yell "Freedom of Speech" in the most fervent of posts. Others say read the constitution and what that truly means. Some like cap guns...some like rail guns.
Most pilots I've seen banned took their beliefs to the extreme. Ignored warnings. Resorted to illegal tactics and exhibited a selfish fanatical belief that they can and will abuse someone else because it is their right.
Once again. Everybody can be who they want as long as public places stay 13+ and you are not attacking someone personally.
I PM'd gog. He/she claimed to have stopped game ruining behavior. He/she has at some point wanted to Exterminate everyone here. He/she only replied to those that engaged him/her. He/she did what everyone expects. He/she apologised when He/she crossed a line. Most get forgiven at that point here. He/she was not I believe because that would be showing weakness in some eyes. Yes gog is trolling. One of my least favorite actions here. At some point all of us have done it though, intentionally or not. Yes gog is playing the bad guy. Shoot the brass tacks off the plunger carrying thimble head! I believe whoever it is isn't trying to harass anyone in particular. Just portray a black hatted robot for your entertainment. If we ever find out who the deviant menace is I have a feeling it will be a laughfest. I do not know who it is but I get the feeling it is a long time resident here.
If you don't care for gog's troll fest. Don't reply. He/she can't continue without your support. Besides wanting to exterminate and make some arguable accusations. What has he/she done. Wig was right to jump on gog when he/she was TKing. I am not fond of the game jumping gog has caused ingame. Some are trying to play a regular game and players jumping in and out of games are ruining the flow of things. Imagine you are in a great game when all of the sudden players come and go like fireflies in mating season. It ruins your strategy on that run and most times ruins the equilibrium of the game. But none of you guys care. You are on a mission. While I'm on the subject. What is the fun of jumping sides until your side is full of aces and the other is full of lower ranked players? They just end up mostly dropping out and trying to avoid a unmatched game? Leaving an unorganised easy to conquer team...oh wait just got it.
Again I do not know who gog is. These are just my observations which mean....nothing.

TGOG has never apologized to forum users for all the Exterminate stuff, which could be claimed as jokey right up to when people said Stop which was early on. And in fact TGOG seems to relish in the taunts. Which is why he must be frustrated at talking to himself. Both of them.

Anyway, only the in-game TK action was bannable, but the threatened timeframe was a bust. The rest of this is all social forum dynamics, no rules broken, just a bunch of people who got sick of a guy's bullying and one of them decided to play looking glass to make TGOG a victim of his own actions. Mods have opinions of the exchanges like anyone else, but the power of the Delete button doesn't seem appropriate here.

Heck, I never liked the delete button in most circumstances, as it erases important context and lessons. But I know that's not the general consensus among the mods.

GoG is a character.. A villain, much like Tony Clifton, only not as funny. I did enjoy seeing people take his figurative exterminations to be literal, though. Don't like the guy? Don't buy tickets to his show and he'll be gone faster than Vanilla Ice

I see it now! the real gog uses an American standard plunger. The fake one is from Harbor Freight.

I've said it before and I'll say it again ......we need more mods. There is no way for the group we have now to keep up with all that is happening. I want to spend most of my game time playing, not moderating. This is why I mainly only deal with what I personally see. I scan the blacklist and take note of names that show up multiple times, but I'm not going to research every complaint. I manage my business by walking around, I moderate the same way.

As for deleted threads, I have not purposely deleted any threads. I have deleted some posts.
