What is it, what does it mean. And why do u get blown up for it in the capture the carrier missions?

The "camping" in a capture the carrier mission is just to prevent the complete capture of a ship by a single plane landing once. You need to take off before the on screen counter reaches zero. I find that 15 seconds is plenty of time to get airborne. Then you can land again and finish the capture.

The other kind of "camping"is when someone hangs out over an enemy spawn point (carrier or base) and shoots opponents before they can really defend themselves.

Worse is when someone "camps" and "spawn kills" meaning they hang out over the enemy spawn point and shoot them before they can get airborne. People generally get pretty pissed about this.

Some even get the bright idea to get in a tank in a dogfight and shoot down reds as they spawn. This is one of the few things things that can get you banned from the game.

In a capture carrier you land on it for 70-80 seconds at a time to move the bar toward a capture if you stay to long you crash. At 25 sec it tells you your camping take off its like a 2 minute warning
