Hi

Several people have reported that they can't join a squad because it says "already requested" and the owners don't see the request.

I'm not able to reproduce it but it obviously happen. What I need to narrow it down, if you could:
1) Give me your pilot name
2) Give me the squadron name you are trying to join
3) Exact error you get
4) Date (or close enough date) when you tried to join for the first time.

3) My request has to be approved (but no one has received it)
4) January 2 or 3.

Zup you don't get an error message.
The thing is that everything looks ok, but your request doesn't show up.
So the owner of the squad can't approve your request (because he/she can't see it), and when you try to re send the request, all you get is that you must wait x amount of time before trying agan.
I had to give it 6 or 7 tries before I got my request to show.

When I go in squad to look for requests I often see nothing or just one request but sometimes I get a lot of chat and requests scroll past some I guess from weeks ago.

Zup!... Need help!

guys, I've been working on this for weeks. It's driving me nuts because the code is fine but it throws an error when inserting the info into the database. As if the database was full in fact, but it has over 2 terabytes free!

It seems a bug on the cloud system, working with Microsoft to pin it down because it is completely random. Many of you are able to join and some will get this weird behavior.

Btw, it seems to help if you don't include special characters in the game. Since the database pre-parses everything, it gets confussed with non standard characters from what we could find out. So if you hae things like {my squad}c#$ool me
try to change your name to something more normal like "cool me" temporary, then try to join the squad, and change back your name to whichever you like

Guys i know abt this problem
But there's a easy solution ....
1) Click on sqaudron at the bottom
2)Type the name of the squad ( NOTE*: Do not type the whole name just the starting letters.E.G: "le" for "LEGENDS")
3)click on the squad name (but the name of the squad should not be the first or [or sometimes even second] in the list tht u r serching).
4) Click "Join".
These steps should help yall coz it did for me...

mpenalba are you sure? try again, you can send the request every 24 hours. They should have received it but try again and see

This is a post on what has been learned about, and ways to get around this bug. Some other odds and ends have been learned as well I can add if useful?
