(Warthunder is arguably the most realistic WWII flight sim to date. Like, go into a spin when you turn too hard real. Or get the control cable to the left aileron shot and the aileron is now useless. The flight models are all within one percent of reality.) I have a Microsoft Sidewinder precision 2 joystick. This game is fairly unrealistic and arcadey but that's kinda the point I guess. A suggestion? Add in difficulty levels. I suggest avhistory.net for getting flight models corrected. They are the best from what I've seen of their add on planes for CFS3. I don't know if they would help with this game, but worth a shot I say. I would also like to see dogfight 1943 maybe? I suggest the hurricane and supermarine spitfire for British. Focke wulf 190 and bf 109 for the Germans. And for French the dewotoine 520. The Americans I suggest the p-40 warhawk and the p-47d thunderbolt. Oh and Italy the mc202. USSR I suggest the polikarpov i-16. Remember there are multiple models of these planes, so try to take the models that came out in the same time period to even out the gameplay. Thanks for reading. I'm a huge aeronautical nerd lol.
Awesome! Finally, someone who knows what they're doing around here! My in-game name is Reck!ess, do you think you could give me some pointers some time? I'm not doing very good at this game and could really use some help. A buddy I play with - his name is Von Kopp - he's been trying to teach me but he's not very good either. Maybe you could drop in the Official Misfits thread and introduce yourself - those guys are always open to suggestions and pointers on how to play.
Anyway, great meeting you, hope to see you in the game!
