Some people would say, that they expelled it from their in the form of excreta ( which is highly untrue )
so i told to assume that the mass of food intake = mass of excreta.

Therefore. The total food in the spaceship + the total excreta = constant.

AND I know that gravity playes an important role in thrust.

I forgot to mention that no external force is acting on the system.

Here is a little experiment u can perform to find out that 20% of what we call dust, are just cosmic particles made up of iron compounds.

Ya all must be washing ur roofs once in a week or once in a
month.

Almost all roofs are connected with a canal like drainage system which has one outlet. Normally the outlet is present on the edge of a wall behind the house.

What u do is, take a pipe and just spray a lot of water on ur roof.
Put an empty bucket under the outlet and put a fairly powerfull magnet in the bucket.
Eventually , u'll get muddy water in the bucket.
Just throw it away . DONOT THROW AWAY THE MAGNET
Remove the magnet from the bucket, u'll see that some minute particles, stick to the magnet.
These particles are nothing but cosmic dust formed from burnt meteors that enter the atmosphere.

IVE PERFORMED IT MANY TIMES !!

the biggest particle i got was of the size of a peanut. !!!

I just store these particles.
I have a little box, full of this kind of dust !!

I see there are very educated individuals here.....my wife works in a university in london england...the uni is calssed as one of the best in england in several fields, one which relates is that of matter and particle physics. I love the whole anti-matter debate as it is a challenge to the mind. Anyway....a few of the professors at the university are permanent placements at the large hadron collider (cern) and their findings are remarkable...I believe I remember hearing that they can now see anti-matter or at least what they believe to be anti-matter..it is the thing which gives all particles their mass and as an effect keeps them where they are intended to be....an example of this is that we are made up of lots of cells...those cells are of varying kinds...now if you got blood or and tissue etc and magnify it enough you will see that the cells all move in their own space but between them are gaps of nothing? So what stops them from merging into one mass (we would be a blob of everything were made of) or indeed what stops all our cells from just going wherever thet want and we disintegrate? This is a dumbed down version and the way I first grasped the theory of anti-matter as it is what keeps everything in place and makes us what we are...as we can now create the higgs boson in miniature black holes (anti-matter) yy could say we are a step away from being masters of creation...of course it cannot end there, something new will no doubt put a spanner in the works but at the moment we are discovering great new things.

Try it out.
Take a very powerfull magnet, go on the roof and just hover it close to the roof.

Particles that stick to magnet are meteorites

if u cant climb on the roof, put the magnet in the bucket, place the bucket under the outlet of rain gutter and just spray a lot of water on the roof using a water hose.
