Has anyone else experienced the problem I have here with tiny miniature in game banners that you can barely see let alone read? Notice the opposition plane size as well. Nearly impossible to hit in a head to head, you feel like you are in the game just as a moving target. Echoboom has been aware of this issue since November15th, still no response. I thought the upcoming apple update would fix it but not to be. Have tried deleting and reinstalling also with no success.I use a ipad4

Hopefully some will know how to fix this, I have a hard enough time with big banners.

As of Zup's last report a couple of weeks ago, they are aware of the current problems on all platforms but he was taking a break from programming until sometime mid december. Time fixes all bugs, this isnt official, just based on what I've seen on the forum. Hope that helps slightly guys

Interesting. I will probably get a game or 2 in tonight. I haven't had a chance to play on the latest update but that is the first time I have seen or heard of that. I play on iPad 4. I'm in the states though. I think geographical location sometimes plays a part in these things.

One thing I can tell you. If Zup can't recreate the problem on a device he has it will not get a fix. I have problems with my keyboard and random game freezes.

Are you IOS 7 updated?

Have your internet provider come out and check your line. Possible you have a hardware problem. Some of my freeze ups were due to a bad signal. I was receiving fine but not sending a solid signal back. I had them come out and check it twice. the line was bad and a transformer was weak. Everything else ran fine but it was jacking with the game a bit. I was the only one that seemed to be having these problems so I figured it had to be me. I had them check and sure enough it was.

Thanks Blue Max, I just recently updated from ipad2 to iPad 4 and yes it is upgraded. At home I am on "Digital Business" and in Australia,the set up includes a Wi Fi Cisco router and the game on the pad 2 ran fine. The in game "Tiny Banners" appeared when the game was eventually switched over to the new device, which was a tiresome procedure as echoboom didn't recognise my gmail address or my password. After much patient persistence Jaoquin officially recognised my gmail address. The second password that he supplied me with worked. I then had to go through a repurchase process with iTunes , but the game was odd. I came into the game at Level 7, was promoted to my level (24) and even though there were players featured on the the chat, I was the only plane in the sky. Further persistence appealing to Joaquin corrected that, but not the " Tiny Banners". There has been no response from Joaquin since the last one on the 15th November telling me he gets 350 requests a day and cannot be my personal assistant. By comparison, it took me less than 1 hour the transfer " Real Racing 3", by uploading the game on the existing device to iCloud, downloading the app on the new device, then downloading the save data from iCloud.

skystone, we've exchanged over 40 emails asking for stuff that anyone on the forum could have helped you with. I'm talking you asking for help on how to setup your ipad, how to setup your icloud account, how to do backups and restore so on which you should talk to apple about. It is fine and I've always helped you (don't say you wrote multiple times until i finally acknowledged you, that's not fair), but I said several times to please post on the forum for many of those requests. After many and i mean MANY more emails you kept sending to me, i told you to please go into the forum because I cannot be your personal assistant. I was pretty sure that was the point where you would come and post.

You upgraded from a iPad with a low resolution screen to a iPad 4 with a high resolution screen. THAT WILL make everything ingame look different (tiny).

the text is a lot smaller but for the first time I was able to see a plane from a distance. Tiny but I could see it.
So your problem is your resolution and nothing else.
If you don't like it you coud go back to the iPad 2 and send me the 4th gen.

yeah the problem is that the last ipads and phones have ridiculous resolution but the text does not resize. An example:
The letter T is 5 pixels wide. That means, it takes 5 dots on the screen from side to side. If the dots on your screen (pixels) are big, you will see a wide T. In the old days, up to the iphone 3gs, from side to side of the screen there was 480 pixels total. Then the resolutions improved and on the same size of screen, you've got 960 pixels. That means that pixels were actually half the size to be able to fit on the same physical space.
So if your T was one inch wide, it would be now half inch.

Then... ipad retina display came out. It has a ridiculous high resolution: 2048 pixels from side to side. That means that now the T is 1/4 of an inch.

I'm making up the number for the size of T, but you got my point, the letter is 1/4 the size it used to be.

On my end, I have to check the size of your screen and resize it so that it keeps being the same physical size while increasing the pixels. But I forget stuff... while your terrain, airplanes and bridges were considered, i forgot to resize the labels of the planes. That's why they are small. They will be fixed but it's not something I can do over email

Hopefully 4.4.43 will have the fix.

. Hey Zup, you obviously don't read my emails or have got me confused with someone else. I haven't asked you to set up my iPad, I haven't asked you any thing about iCloud and I also told you that I had Apple Support trying to help me for over a week. What I didn't tell you was that members of my squad were also assisting me. All my emails have been for legitimate reasons like echoboom not recognising my gmail address, not recognising my password, stuff that the forum or other players can't help with. I feel that this ordeal could have been resolved earlier had you read my emails properly in the first place and I hope you understand that if I have any issues that only you can address I will not hesitate to email you if you don't mind. I would be interested to see a comparative screen shot on another players ipad4 please.

Hey thanks Blue Max, that is what I suspected. Both of us are on iPad4 and yet your banners are correct size and mine are small, why is that I wonder? I updated a couple of days ago and the banners were still small and I reckon I could update till the cows came home and the banners would still be small. I think that Zupperman has to reload the game again (along with my save data) to correct this problem. Thanks again, nice flying with you.

Hey Bellsaj, Both Blue Max and myself are both on iPad4 and yet his banners are normal size and mine are tiny. I understand about the resolution etc. which is why I have disabled the smoke and mirrors.

The banners in Pete's post are huge. I think ours are the same size.

Hey Thanks Blue Max, I can see that and how small Bellsaj's are also. On my iPad 2, the banners were like Pete's. Not that my KD ratio was ever that flash, but now it is dismal. Also easy to accidentally hit your own teammates especially with short names and no squad banner, I can't see the planes either unless they are close.

Well im glad that your situation is now known on why your text is so small! But can any one explain to me why my text are so big and the planes look like dots on my ipad mini?

Hey Bell, I just noticed that you bombed three hangers. Since the hanger size restrictions have been lifted I rarely hit two.

I got to thinking about this. I would really hate to see the banners/names any bigger. They already get muddled up together if you have a lot of guys flying close to each other. The little dot for the plane I don't think would change if he adjusts it. It will just make the player names huge. It would make it hard to distinguish between targets. Just my thoughts. I'm used to it though. I played 2 months on iPhone. You can't see anything on that damn thing. So when I went to iPad it made it better. I would actually like to see them a tad smaller or adjustable. :)I will adapt to what ever comes along though. Just happy to have my crystal clear gun sight back with the last update.

Hey Blue Max, I hear you, I guess it's what you are accustomed to as well. I started playing the game on the ipad2, It amazes me that anyone plays on mobile phones. The catalyst for "Tiny Banners" was the incident where I accidentally shot a team member twice in quick succession, albeit in close quarter situation who had a short name and no squad banner. That is the problem with small banners, but the adjustment option makes a lot of sense. I love the crystal clear gunsight as well, as I don't have to clean the iPad screen as often.

Hey guys I play on an android and I'm getting the same thing when I uninstall.and reinstall I get back my normal size banners.it only lasts for a little while and suddenly in mid game pow right back to I can't see squat but its not just the banners its every thing tanks are tiny even when I'm craning into them.even the landscape looks smaller this started back in November and I've been living with it but now even reinstalls just don't work anymore please help.zup even the noobs are laughing at me I think I'm gonna cry oh hell wahhhhh wahhhhh sniffle all I can do is put lead down range and hope I hit something. Hey Darraxx, sry to hear about you're in game issues, problems like that put you behind the 8 ball. Are you able to post some screen shots. You no doubt have emailed Zup about this, hopefully he can help as well and the problem is resolved.

I wish I could get a screen shot butmy power button just shuts down my phone trying to make it work for months now and Max I think.u misunderstand we are not asking for the banner to be bigger I get the normal size banners and I can see the tiny dot but suddenly they become so small. You can't see hat dot any more until I'm at point blank range everything shrinks planes the ship tanks hangers even the terrain details in the land scape get smaller and when I reinstall the game it goes back to the banners that we all see
