I know that this is off topic but it is deer season here in Manitoba and I just made the best shot of my life tonight. Heart shot at 438 yards with a 10 mile an hour crosswind. Deer(buck) went about 15 feet and dropped. So excited I just had to share it with you all. All I need now is to shoot like this in game and I'll be set.

Torn that is an outstanding shot in anybody's book. Gimme some info, weapon, scope etc. I'm a competitive shooter and a hunter when I have time, so gimme some details. Hell of a shot bud.

This year i think I'm gonna get an albino buck. Just sayin... Odds are with me... I haven't gotten anything for my 3 years of hunting so I'm bound to get one.

I use a 7mm Winchester short magnum with a vx11 leupold 3x9-40 scope.
I use 150 grain fusion rounds.
The shot was about 20 min after sunset, legal time here is 30 min after sunset and huntings over. It was dark and the buck could not be seen naturally. Leupold scopes pick up so much light I could see the buck with no issues at all. I will always use Leupold since I have always had great experiences with them. Two years ago at the same time of evening, I shot a buck at 280 yards. That was my record until tonight. Thanks again T.R

I would like to find the time to go hunting:) maybe this season I will get a chance. All my free time is spent playing dogfight so it's either hunt or play this game hmmmm:-)
