I know this has nothing to do with DOGFIGHT but I'm curious.

Thursday night my brother and i are going to New Orleans Louisiana to one of the MOST HAUNTED places in American.

The ST. LEWIS CEMETERY. we are going to take a 3 hour tour, starting at 7:30 at night. I'm not going to say I believe in ghosts or not, I've never seen one and I want to. There is to much evidence to poo poo the ideal. We see everything in 3 dimensions, who's to say that their is not more dimensions we cant see.

Has anyone on DOGFIGHT ever been there or any other famous haunted place

RAD, according to what I know the BIBLE really isn't clear on that. It is clear about mediums, see Levi 19:32 and 20:6. The BIBLE is clear about heaven and hell. I do know that demons exsists and evil is real. Maybe just maybe ghosts could actually be demons.

Davy....its been cool to talk with you lately....ur a really good friend...just a little statement as part of this open discussion.....I kinda lean toward radient with the Bible comment "absent from the body is present with the Lord" and some other passages......

but....when you say this "Maybe just maybe ghosts could actually be demons."....I have always thought that....

ghosts being demons....I like what said there....many references and stories in the Bible seem to infer that.

I stand by "absent from the body is present with the Lord"...and prior to Jesus's resurrection that was not the case in certain instances...due to Sheol...aka "Story of Lazarus and the rich young ruler" explains the "pre-resurrection" of afterlife..

I agree....we might get an idea....but we dont understand fully....but we will understand fully in the future "when we see Him as He is"...

I believe the house I grew up in was haunted. I've seen many shadowy figures moving about and things moving or floating by themselves to make me a believer in the paranormal.

it's funny thing, i don't believe in ghosts but just thinking about them scares me...
probably just like watching a bad horror movie, where you know it's not real but still scares the crap out of you

Purgatory, could that be where the ghosts are? Forced to roam the earth unseen. Many years of Catholic School brought me to this conclusion.

You are right Davy, there are other dimensions that we cannot fully see.For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Colossians 1:16

2 Kings 6:8-23 is also an awesome story to read about the unseen world.

i dont know anything about ghosts or about bible.

But i do know some physics

in physics total 26 dimensions are known.




outta them we can perceive only 3.

Everyone knows the first 3 and the fourth i.e. Time.

So there is a huge possibility that ghosts may be in some of those and they ocassionally come to the 3d world for things like hallooweeenn !!! Or to watch gr8 movies like capt. Phillips.

As of horror movies. I start laughing uncontrolably when i see movies like grudge or paranomal activity.

Fried had a friend who was working on cemetery. In summer that friend did most of the hard work in night time because its cooler then. My friend and some other guy tried to scare the crap out of him by disguising as ghost. So one night they went to cemetery and walked around as ghost. The friend didn't pay much attention to them. No matter if they made some noice or came closer or what. Absolutely no reaction. They got bored and were going to leave when other guy felt firm grip on his shoulder.

-Listen. You can take a walk if you want but you are not going outside that fence.



Seriously speaking I don't believe in ghosts but I have seen demons a few times. Those are nasty creatures but they cannot hurt you. All they can do is scare you a bit and they flee when you command them in name of Jesus.

I don't know about other dimensions but 28 percent of our universe is dark matter and 68 percent is dark energy wich we cannot see or measure. We just know it is there.

Jesus died for our sins, and he is in heaven with God sitting on the right hand of (Him)

RAD, now your being a little judgmental maybe ( isn't that a sin) . This was a tread to get peoples opinion of ghosts and how they felt about them and to discuss things like other dimensions. To judge people for their opinion is not good. Read the opening post.

Their are many many things that are unknown to us that is not clear in the bible, discussion is good, people learn from discussion. The bible says when you die all things will become known to you, in the meantime discussion without fear of judgement is good IS IT NOT.
