Hi there,

As you know, right now everyone on a squadron is either an Aspirant or a MORAF. This is about to change since I'm already working on the internal squadron management system.

This is the idea I have so far, I'm open to suggestions so let me know before it's officially done.

Each squadron will have 5 internal ranks with privileges:
1 = Aspirant = No privileges. You are a squadron member.
2 = Wing Commander = You can accept/reject recruits that want to join the squadron.
3 = Group Captain = Same privileges of the Wing Commander + you can promote/demote members of the squadron up to Wing Commander and also kick members from the squadron.
4 = Air Marshal = Full powers, all the Group Captain can do + promote/demote up to Group Captain + change squadron settings like the name, description and so on.
5 = MORAF = It is the same than an Air Marshal but this person is the owner/creator of the squadron and can promote/demote up to Air Marshal or switch the squadron to a new MORAF

they are just names... i've tried to pick from the first to the last, the others names seem to be very high in the scale for new recruits.

this will be done from the game or the forum ?

And who decides the squadron ranks ?

U , mods , squadron leader or the squadron mods?

Or the game itself ?

this is all for the game, and it is internal to the squadron so the MORAF of each squadron will decide the ranks and who to allow to give other ranks.

Ok here is the million dollar question. When will we be able to do this? Is there another update for that?

very soon, and you can have as many of each as you want. Only one exception, there can only be 1 MORAF on each squadron

My only problem is squads kinda do nothing. but just be private
chat clubs.
Then u add all these fancy levels in squadrons that all they do is chat and sit there.
And all these levels will be left in the dust of "forgotten formalities".

Think of it as putting high quality chocolate frosting on dogi biscuits.

im not trying to be a party pooper here. I just don't think it's all that it cracked up to be.

Maby something like....
Fewer levels.
More power to each level.
Make that level something that is a privilege and a real job, that can only be done by a person in that rank.
And standardized all squads to the same levels.
And make it obvious via badge or something that this person won this privilege either by vote or appointment. (Aka make it meaningful)

Something to think about.

I like the idea of ranks and all, but ya squads are kind of pointless until squad wars.

I think only the top two ranks should be able to accept or boot members.

I agree who, that decision should not be left to just one person

I would like two or three ranks say aspirant, wing commander, group capt. that have no privileges, but allow an internal promotion for members that do more than just join.

I'd only want a few members with the right to add new members.
