Battle update: It seems as though certain players are banned from logging into the forum completely, thereby not allowing them to have the PM function.

Ok. Here is what I have figured out. Most banned people can still log into their forum account. From there, the option to PM is still available to them although they can no longer post. This is what Magenta has been exploiting.

But, I have learned that a forum account can also be deactivated and closed, no longer allowing the user to even log in, much less use the PM system.

So, the big question. Why have Magentabarons forum accounts not been deactivated and closed? The history of what he has done in the past remains, but the account is closed no longer allowing him to harass other players at will.

If you delete it(i think that is what you mean?) he can still make another account with his Facebook. However if he was ip banned he can't log in at all or make new account without making new facebook.

I'm sure that he can continue to circumvent his ban, but it was proven with the JacobR debauchel that when the admins issue a ban, they take it seriously, and are willing to continue enforcing the ban. Hopefully they will take Magenta's ban just as seriously. Obviously the means that they will have to use may be a bit different, but we now know that it can be done.

Ok. For the folks that signed on for this fight. I need you to RESPECTFULLY make your wishes for Magenta to be removed very clear to the admin team... Possibly daily... If you believe that a guy who hasn't stopped making trouble for 6 months suddenly is going to stop now for no reason, forget about all of this and move on.

As we continue with our war against Magentabaron, and the general hands off ignore em till they go away approach that is being taken towards the most abusive players in this game, new questions keep arising.

1: Richy was supposedly banned for the Doir incident. Fine, he crossed the line, but he wasn't banned until he crossed Magentabaron. Why?

2: We now know that an individual forum account can be deactivated... This is the obvious solution for a guy like our current hero, but for whatever reason, no one is willing to do this. Rather, the general answer that I keep receiving is that I'm pissing in the wind. Why?

3: the only obvious answer is that Magenta must be SOMEONE ELSE, or possibly in the household of someone else that carries some weight here. This makes me suspicious as to whether he is IP banned, or just forum and game banned. I mean, if I fall off of my rocker and start sending you guys threatening messages, I'll bet $20 that my account will cease to exist tommorow. From all accounts, that is exactly what Magenta has done, yet he still retains his ability to harass and threaten. Why? Something stinks...

4: We keep asking "why?" but I am starting to think the correct question is "who?"

Well, anyway. It seems that the wisdom of the day is going to be "ignore him and he'll go away" for the foreseeable future. You never know either, he just might (yawwwwnnn), but until enough players call for his head, he is going to remain free to harass and threaten. If he does, please bring screenshots and copies of messages to the Jolly Roger.

We will be closing this command center for now, as our allies aren't interested in pursuing Magenta, and it's expensive to run and maintain this place. Until something blows up in someone's face, all W.O.M.B. (war on magenta baron) operations will now be conducted within the Jolly Roger network, and will now be considered classified until further notice.

Magenta, better watch your back buddy.
