I haven't played much lately (compared to normal, ask my wife and I still play TOO MUCH), but my last few games have been filled with mole tankers. Through an hour long game there was a fairly extensive discussion and a few things came up. Here are some and my take. I would love to hear your views...

1. Mole tanks are part of the game, get used to it - No, it's a bug derived from multiple platforms receiving different versions of the game at different times. Eventually, the versions will catch up (I pray to the gods this is true and soon). At that point moles are no more, until the next terrain change.

2. If you're a mole to me, I'm a mole you. That makes it fair. - True and false. Yes we're probably moles (or flying tanks) to each other at various parts of the field. However, it doesn't make it fair. If you sit in a spot that you know to be underground to the enemy ( you know, cuz we told you) and lob shells into the hangars, you're taking advantage of the glitch. Hardly fair. A few updates ago, I could slide my dead body across the field and tank anyway. Everyone could. Fair? No! Same thing here. Just because you can doesn't mean you should (unless you're a canine, different concept).

3. If you know you're a mole, you shouldn't tank. - I don't think so. Tanking is one of the BEST parts of the game. I don't wanna see it gone. I love trying to keep Foust and YEMX out of the damn things and love blasting them even more, when they do tank. I think (notice I said "I think", not "you should think") if you tank and discover or already know you're a mole to the enemy, just keep moving. Eventually you'll pop up and probably soar through the air. It gives me a sporting chance to get you and allows you to continue tanking.

Moles are not going to be part of the game forever, but glitches are. There's no way a game like this, on a half dozen or more platforms and countless devices, is not going to have some inconsistencies. It's how you choose to play that makes the difference. If you choose to have your fun at somebody else's expense by taking advantage of some fluke in the game, you need to rethink it. Be considerate, have fun and let the other guy have some too. If you can beat him fair and square, the victory will be much sweeter.

Just my take,
PH

Hey PH,

Sorry for leaving the game where this was discussed. Battery died.

Remember that it is possible to bomb the mole tank. Just like you can bomb a plane on the second deck of a carrier by hitting above him on the first deck.

As far as this...I'm just tired of the complaining. The worst guys are the one's that complain and then turn around and do it the next game. Complaints are used for gaining leverage in this game (by some) and it gets old. (Note - not including you in this.)

Just remember that you can bomb and that apple players can kill apple and droids can kill droids. Better to say, "Hey an apple player needs to kill this mole tank.", then just say, "Mole Tank".

I guess my last comment on this is that I think it usually fails when the players have to police the game. Z needs to think about these types of issues (terrain changes) and maybe release to Apple first (and wait) and then to droid when Apple comes available.

Yeah he's not bad for having a walnut-sized noggin and a raisin-sized thought-wracker. Well said, plummaged peacock.

I've been able to bomb most of the time with success, the exception being hamburger hill. It seems (android I assume) some can sit inside the hill out of bomb range, but within range of the hangars. This area has caused me the most frustration. I've even tanked here and shot point blank at the tank in the hill without success. Everywhere else, bombs seem to do it.

Please don't think I'm using this as an excuse, but the moles are (I think) a little more difficult for me, due to the colorblindness. The red names on green grass go invisible, unless they move. I can catch the contrast when its moving, but for the most part I just have to figure it out by radar. I have a hard time even seeing the tanks that aren't moles when they're not moving. For planes, I can see the rank insignia and thats what I use.

Another thing, since I'm on a roll bitching about colorblindness, It's not just the tanks that are underground. The planes do too. I fly lower than most because I'm colorblind, so I can get the enemy against the sky and see them better. Now that planes are below the ground, I've had to change up my style and fly high to avoid being shot from below or through hills. It's a minor inconvenience, but I'm still noticing the negative impact to my game. Just a frustration.... I feel so much better now that I've spouted off about my "disABILITY".

It's been asked and answered many times by Zup regarding letting the apple release go first. He sees it as a "punishment" to none Apple users to make them wait. I kind of get that, except when this issue came up. We are not all playing the same game.

Even though the title has to do with moles, I think I really just meant for this topic to be more about courtesy. If you know there's a glitch, I don't think you should exploit it intentionally is all I really wanted to say. All in all, the moles are really a small part of the game. It's the one game in ten that you remember though.

Both android and apple mole at certain points on the map (apple planes are about 50m underground at the north base). If you have a mix of phones on a team it tends not to be an issue, as someone will be able to shoot the mole.

I've been a mole and stoped shelling cuz the red team let me know they can't see me. I usually move and ask if they can see me, but usually the second I move to a clear area I get killed. I'm considering not moving in future.Good manners needs to go both ways. If I'm kind enough to stop and move. Let me know I'm back in view then I'll start to move and you can kill me.

There are valid points all over this thread. I cannot wait for apple to release their update. I too enjoy the tank aspect of the game but do not like being called a coward or a cheater for being in a tank.
As well as trying to keep moving while in tank you can also avoid stopping on hillsides or in valleys, these seem to be mole locations. Using hill tops for shell shooting locations may be more appropriate.

Can u catch a flying tank.

And what about the little man when the chute lands and the poor guy is underground, will he smother to death before he tanks.

What kind of air supply is in a mole tanking system.

What about the person who takes off when he is 50 feet above the runway, why doesn't he fall. Is this consistent with basic aerodynamics. What are basic aerodynamics.

Why does a tank sink on dry land as you are in perfect position to tank and shoot the crap out of a carrier when no one is around causing you undo stress and frustration that you kick the dog and nearly kick the wife until you see the frying pan in her hands.

WHYWHY WHY.

Max

Thanks for dispelling those myths. Are you sure about the toilet seat though? Otherwise, the wife has some explaining to do. And thanks for that picture. It was worse than the baby zombies from the Walking Dead. It will make it difficult for me to sleep for at least 6 minutes.

I do like the idea of spotting and calling for Apple or Droid users whatever you may need. That has worked nicely in a couple of game. As a Droid user, I can proclaim that these Apple and Win 8 jackwagons need to straighten up and fly right!!!

BlüE MäX-Mole Tank Myths, Busted !!!!! (Revised)

Myth #1-You can catch a mole tank from a toilet seat.

FALSE-You can only catch a mole tank from bodily fluids. Unless you are LAWMANS wife, then you CAN catch a mole tank from a toilet seat, but only if LAWMAN leaves the lid down.

No explination needed now Mrs. LAWMAN. ;) These are known facts.
