The national news says that once the airfield is restored, the plan is to introduce apprenticeships to train people how to restore the planes and vehicles from the 100 years ago.

How cool is that.

Very Nice Dane! YellowBelly actually visited Stow Marie's Aerodrome one weekend. Here is the link to the forum topic for some of his pics.

I have actually been following their progress on all the renovations they have been doing. These guys are donating their time to help restore it to its original condition. These guys also restore cars from that era and hold fly ins. Pretty amazing what they have accomplished, they even hold talks from pilots that flew in WWII.

They also participate in showing people how to fly model airplanes, some of the planes are almost the same size of a small car. You should visit their website.
