What’s changed in DF in the last 2 years or more? I downloaded DF to my phone sometime in November 2011; and then proceeded to join the forum in May of 2012 and then the Enigma Corp shortly thereafter – I believe there were 2 other squads at that time but not sure. Slenderman ran the forum and then Manfred joined in for support shortly after. I remember there was a glitch in his in game mod powers. Tank spawnkillers were running ramped and getting airplane spawnkilling was a form of hazing (by some) for noobs and teamkillers were all over the place. I think I have been teamkilled once in like 2 months. That’s probably due to the server split for vets and noobs. What a shame that is; nothing like giving out a good “teaching” to a noob that teamkills by using the “words – warning – weapons” principle, of course.  Now I know there were many others that joined way before my time so there are details that I can’t speak to, but what I can tell you is that the forum and DF was a much different place.

What do you remember that was different?

There was little to no lag back than,but the graphics wasn't as good.

I remember getting my butt handed to me by the vets... shot down like 20+ times for every kill.... then Zup split the servers just as I was getting ok and I never got to get my number back on the noobs

I've been playing for only 8 months, the biggest change to me is the friendliness.

I remember also getting my butt handed to me and all the vintage players making fun of me as I was shooting the mountain thinking a red was there. However they all make me feel at home and a part of something, it was all in good fun.

There are several coming into the game now that just do not seem very friendly nor sociable, even cocky and rude.

But there are some nice ones I've had the pleasure of playing with.

I would drop the good looking grafic back to the day the trees was introduced every day of the week if it meant that I would have a lagg free game.

Maybe one of the servers could be a Dogfight "classic" server with low grafic.

What about opening a simplifying-graphics-petition?
I love this game the way ut was 6 months ago! If any improvement was needed, it was not on graphics at all! And some old needs was never fixed, by the way.

Right now, I simply CAN NOT PLAY THE GAME! I mean it: NO MORE GAMING, unless I change my Galaxy S2 (that is still capable of playing heavy 3d games like Modern Combat 4) for a new beast, just because the few polygons of this game are making my phone gasp with NO JUSTIFIABLE REASON.

What worths nice graphics, if you cant fly?

I agree Davy. After I took a few months off from playing, I have notice alot of newer players are not as friendly as the ones I originally played with. I like to have fun while playing (especially with Mrs serious!!!) We see alot of very un friendly players here now. Cockiness is also an issue with me new players.

I remember when there were less than 18 morafs. Of course I'm sure others remember when there wasnt any morafs. And i wonder when calle will be back. He was is the best. I remember thinking i was all it since i was top 25 in my rank lol.
