I can't get the external view now on my HTC one or galaxy tab. The break also doesn't seem to work.

I got external camera view to work but only sometimes. I need to click the camera many times. Happens when i am in plane and in chute, so i cant shoot from chut.

Yes no external view.can't use chute.

Just updated... I have to "double tap" to change views and game loses connection constantly ... I have a LG Spectrum ... is my phone outdated? As far as I know its got the latest Android software update...

P.S. the no quit button is amazing ...
Another issue... I can't get my keyboard to come up ingame...

Just updated. Game is jumpy, then freezes, then takes me to send error report. Samsung galaxy tab2

As of today--can't stay in a game more than about 2 minutes.
Keeps booting me.
Galaxy S4.
also--button problems: camera and brakes don't work.
tried killing app. Fixed for a few missions, but still getting booted.

Yes the brakes dont work either i failed to notice before.

ok, try new update (it should be out in about 30 minutes), it should fix the camera and brakes

about the other crashes, they are not normal... if it asks you to report the crash, do it because i will get the error message in here to look at

This probably was answered before, and I probably sound like a newb for asking this but: Why does it take so long before an Apple update?
Also, I think you should time the sun/moon thing so it gradually becomes night or stays night or gradually become day or stays day. Just my two cents.

The brake can external view work with that new update (only tried for a few seconds but im happy).

Zup still crashed on my galaxy tab 2 screen is still freezing, then starting, then freezing, ect.ect. Can stay in game just a bit longer before it crashes. Updated twice today.

Hate to close down this parade, but tried out the latest update. After having to reinstal excactly 24 time to correct my setting. Absolutely no fix, i dont want share all thats terribly wrong but just to share a few,
1. Plane seems to take of allot slower
2. When firing, you begin to sway uncontrolably
3. Try not to turn but even when flying straight everything is wiggy like a slide show in hyperspeed
4. 1 shot kills, but when in a chute wow theres just no way to hold the sites

Theres more but just wanted to share the important ones,
Ive done everything that was pointed out in regards to the settings but it doenst help at all....

Ok i updated, and although i love the new graphics, i dont like that i cant enjoy them. I have been kicked 10 times in the last 30 mins. I am ingane long enough to be killed, get my tank be killed again then im kicked. Zup please fix this ur doing a great job and i know there r going to be bugs but u dont know unless someone tells u.

I updated to the first and second 4.4.37 (first two days I think), and I will hold on this latest one until you guys are reporting something better.

Just updated again....still very jerky on the screen, have to hit buttons a couple times for them to work, swaying while shooting, throttle slides up really slow, brakes are delayed upon release. Screen seems to be in slow motion while turning. Galaxy tab 2

Ok got a screen shot of my problem. I really havent played long enough to try the brakes the turning and the other stuff. I get from one base to the other then this happens

I did not manually update yesterday, and I received no notification that my device auto-updated, and yet...

The "Quit" button is gone, and the crippling server lock-out problem is fixed. Brilliant work, Joaquin!

As to the night FX: consider associating night lighting with a specific new mission type. It would be historically accurate to only perform certain missions during the day and others more often at night. Balloon busting comes to mind. Attacking enemy observation balloons at dusk, with the need to hit them all before full dark when they're reeled to the ground for the night. The darker it gets and the lower the balloons get the more difficult it becomes to destroy them. Your incendiary ammunition FX would be perfect for this. Imagine those laser tracers against a darkening sky!

I've mentioned this to you privately, but I absolutely love the lens flare when looking toward the sun. It's your most beautiful visual effect so far.

I agree the server issue is resolved.

BUT, the rest of the problems (expressed in an email to Z) regarding my Nexus seem to remain (more flying/testing needed).

I think it's becoming clear to me that each device reacts differently to these updates. I'm not smart enough to even understand why that is. My only thought is that the lag plays out differently on each device? So each device gets the same update but delays in getting commands back cause them to react differently???? I'm holding out hope that when Apple approves the update that these lag issues decrease and my Nexus starts to act normal.

Existing problems (with 47 and the updates to 47):

• Chat stops working over time.
• Commands store up (lag) while in chute or tank. To the point that when I die, my sticks move for up to 10 seconds (stored up commands).
• Page icon takes up to 5 seconds to work on first usage after spawn.
• Display (video) feezes during flight.

I think some of these issues seem to be unique to my device.

As always...thanks for any help Z! Still the greatest game out there and our "complaints" are really just our way of telling you how much we love this game and can't live without it!

yeah on each device works differently. It is just that internally they are different chips so although they are androids... they are different.

I was talking to unity for the past 2 days trying to resolve all the issues, they've got ton from the crashes on nexus, samsung and acer. Also Microsoft is looking into the windows stuff. Windows Phone 8 already got the 4.4.37 update and I'm enforcing it so you should see less ghosts.

Will DF work on a Xelios devices?

What should I look towards on specs.

They are inexpensive and Christmas is coming to DF Universe.

in theory it should work in all android devices above android 2.3.3
in practice is trial and error, try to give it a shot at the store

- To dxp29 - "slideshow" is everywhere, or just when you have the north base in your field-of-view?

- To bhfoust - same slow-throttle problem here. But only when I have the north base in my field-of-view. What about you?

- To zandorhawke - does it freezes everytime, or just (or more) when your plane is "aiming" at the north base?

All these questions because the game runs flawlesly in my old i9100 (Samsung Galaxy S2), EXCEPT when my plane/tank/soldier's "nose" is pointed to the north base (in other words, the game has very low framerate, like a "slideshow", when the north base is included in the landscape, when it is included in the field-of-view of the player). This way, I experiment the same "slideshow" effect - very low fps.
But its only a matter of turning my plane/tank/soldier a bit to the side or a bit up or down, and the game runs normally again... But hey, I need to head to north base to win the game sometimes, huh?

And this issue is noticed even when I turn everything off on the visual settings, and even when I am offline (practicing)!!!

I already said it on another thread, but I need to enphasize it: I play several other heavy 3D games (like Modern Combat 4) with all music/effects/smokes/flares/bells/purpurines turned on, and with very good framerate... So, there is no reason to blame the device for the bad performance of the game.

Another thing: could we have the option to turn dynamic-lightning on-off?

Mantz, the Xelios tablet I saw on the oficial site has only 512 mb of ram, and with a screen with only 800x480 pixels. Stay away from it. I mean it.

So this being said is it Unity that has the problem.Or like you previously have said its Samsung and Google Nexus that don't know what they're doing.

Confusing

The quit bug is bad enough but now game freezes and locks up,chute sights are so twitchy you can't aim.
Don't get me wrong graphically its beautiful, the best I've seen but at a major cost of the most important part of any game.Game playability.
Hopefully a fix soon.

It can freeze anytime and anywhere and lasts for only a second. It doesn't happen that often but seems to be worse after spawning a new plane (goes away the longer I stay alive). I was in-game with you while you were testing out your north base theory. Doesn't happen to me.

maybe i should stop explaining stuff because people get confused.
there are two different issues: samsung and google has driver problems, i have no power on them or when they will fix it

the LAST update i released, has new lighting system which is done using Unity. When I released it, tons of people got new crashes with this new stuff. That's something Unity can work on.

Next time I'll just begin following Apple and Google's way and say: i'm working on it, wait for a fix
