From my poll I conducted a month ago. ....
We found 13.8 percent of all devices used in the game where I phones.....
And 38.5 percent of all phones used in the game where I phones.
Also we found out that most people can't play well/dont like playing on them because of the small screens. And prefer tablets instead.

So the question. .......

If apple came out with a bigger screen 5"+ for a new I phone would you buy one? With better dogfight enjoyment in mind.

Yes, dogfight is about the only things i do with my phone. But i am buying adroid next time. I don't have the patience i wait 2 months for the cool updates.

I don't think so. I started playing Dogfight on an iPhone 3GS .. man, did that ever kill my eyes. I then got an iPad 4, which is what I currently play on. Even with the iPad's screen size my eyes get messed up .. of course, I'm a MOM so I have mean old eyes so that could play a part. But no, I would never go back to a phone .. just too small for a game like this.

PERSONALLY IV ALWAYS WHANTED A I PHONE BUT THE SIZE IS A REAL PROBLEM FOR ME.

You might want to consider a Kindle Fire HD. Cat of doom ordered one from Amazon for $ 150. (The smaller one) no dropped games for calls and it is much better for forum and web browsing than a phone. Screen shots are awkward but some seem to have good luck with it. Great for reading and movies too.

I am not a MOM, but my eyes are old also, I play on an IPad, and wear $2.00 readers. Basically magnifiers. Makes a big difference. Try it. Hope this helps. I only wish my screen was BIGGER. lol

I just want a phone i can love as much.

The increase in resolution from my 3gs to my 4s iphone is huge. I have over 32,000 kills on my 4s. I can snipe quite well.

I got an ipad 4 last week, there is only a bit more long range visibility than my phone (both have retinal display)

I would have probably been wiser to get the ipad mini, chasing with a large ipad is much harder than with my phone.

Also the increase in peripheral vision on the i pad is noticable.

Gonna get an iphone 5 later this year which has a slightly longer but not wider screen.

The size thing has always been a puzzle to me with iphones.
They never really try to cater to gamers when it comes to screen size. Or anything else really! ;)small small small!

They' re probably just sticking to their bottom line.

Yes, same here .. BIGGER screen wanted. I might even consider going Win 8 if the phantom issue gets resolved. I've been majorly near-sighted since childhood but it may be time for bifocals

I play on my Galaxy S4. It's just fine, barring the occasional S4 boot--which is getting better BTW.
However, I played on my daughter's Galaxy tablet tonight for the first time. Thought the bigger screen would give an advantage.
I found it very shaky and kind of bulky to play on--even after getting used to it.
The bulkiness I was able to get used to, but could never get rid of the shakiness despite numerous recalibrations.
I was even down in the basement "visiting" the kiddie table.

Phones: good maneuverability, but too small screen;
Tablets: good screens, bad maneuver.

Conclusion: I am stuck on my poor S2 for now. But I am anxiously waiting for a working Windows 8 version, to play with my killer Cyborg joystick, sit on the sopha, eating popcorns, watching on TV your planes smoking from my bullets before you even notice me on radar... MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It is a weird glitch that acts as if ti was a lag - but not a lag at all, since the messages between the players goes normally.

The glitch makes Windows 8 users to "see" the game in a different momentum than the current momentum observed by the other players. A Windows 8 player shoots you now, and the kill will be only noticed by the victim 50-60 seconds later. It is "normal" to see a player near his own base and, one second after, you can read the astonishing, unbelievable message "Hangar bombed by player X"... Sort of.
Not a technical explanation, of course, but you get the picture.
