iOS 7 just came out, which incorporates a more modern look, taking out most of the unsightly angles, and some software upgrades. I don't know if this affects Dogfight playing, and was wondering if anyone had expierienced with it or had heard anything.

So...who has now updated to the newest iOS? Any DF issues with it?

I don't like the changes it made to the look and workings of the pad. I suppose I will get used to it with time. It changed a lot.

I only use the thing for DF. That's why it was bought in the first place. As far as DF goes I have had the split screen one time since I did the IOS 7 (see the WHAT THE HELL IS THIS !!!!!!! Thread) Now from time to time it will put the battery, time, and connection signal at the top of the screen in the game. Its fine most times, but sometimes it turns that portion of the screen solid black. This jacks up the game. It blocks the points you have and the little red arrows you use in a chase. This makes the gam impossible to play. If I see it come up black on the play game/world chat screen I have to do a hard reset of the pad. Top and side buttons at the same time, power off. It goes away after that for a while. VonKopp told me it comes up black on his iPad after he posts a pic. I haven't tried to see if that's when it does it on mine yet.

All the other aspects of the game seem fine. Same ol laggy/glitchy stuff as always. Nothing unusual so far. I've played BTB/BTC both. No DFs yet or Zep games.

I have iOS 7, and have no problems parrot. It gives it a more android look. It also makes changing your brightness easier, adds a flashlight, and adds iTunes Radio, kinda like pandora or iheartradio.

I upgraded yesterday.

Seems ok to me although I have since had a couple of "quits to home screen" issues.

I like iOS seven. But if you haven't downloaded it yet. Make sure you do it at night. It took me 3 hours i download it!

I've seen Ios 7 and used it, but the ipad I use doesn't have enough memory to upgrade, I'll keep watching posts to see how you guys like ios 7. Max, I got a split screen and I haven't upgraded. I'll post it eventually.
