I found a far better game: Storm Raiders

Unlike Dogfight, it has multiple locations at which you can battle. Landing the plane is much easier (the plane doesn't unrealistically capsize), you don't absolutely need bombs to win the game, it's much more fast paced, less frustrating and I could go on all day with how much better it is!

Storm Raiders is a WWII game and they do have a WWI game called Rise of Glory. The series is called Sky Gamblers and it's made by Atypical Games. Just google it for more information. You're gonna love it!!!!!

Dogfight is the best

I have rise of glory but the reason this game is better is one it actually simulates ww1 planes its supposed to be hard to land well not for me anymore thats what makes it a challenge.2.you have to swipe your finger to pull of a move like a fast sharp turn or make a loop ......no that's the game doing for you.3. You have this the forum now I don't know if that game has a forum but this one has squads that people treat others like well the home away from home but that basicly the reasons I don't play sky gamblers that much plus I don't have the full version

Have both and Dogfight wins hands down.

They way the planes maneuver and fly is even more unrealistic then dogfight. It is also a pay to win game. When your in a dogfight it dose not feel like your in a dogfight it feels more like you are a chasing a dove a jet fighter. The planes turn so fast you cant tell what the hell is going on. The landing is crap as well. You hit the run way and you instantly stop. Even if your going 40,000 miles an hour you hit the run way and you stop right where you wheels touch. The sky gambler series is the worst money I ever spent.

Agreed I have played them all And nothing compares to Dogfight.

They are fun until you do everything in them.

1. No, planes don't suddenly flip over when you land them.
2. You don't HAVE to do that to do a trick maneuver.
3. Yes, they now have a forum. Squads? Who cares about squads? You could still be teamed against each other even if you ARE in the same squadron.

Another good thing about Sky Gamblers is that you can CHOOSE which game you wanna play. You're not thrown into a random game.

But there's a lot more to do in Sky Gamblers than Dogfight. Dogfight has only ONE location. Sky Gamblers has several. Not only does Sky Gamblers have online player mode, but it also has single player campaign mode with stories.

Dogfight is the best but I play sky gamblers too, the best part is you can do a difficult battle offline rather thank flying to the base and landing!! I am a chief major seargant

Sky gamblers is stupid. Aint nothin compare to dogfight. Dogfight has a great community and has the best pilots.

I too found these games and even made a thread comparing them to Dogfight. I couldn't get over the graphics, controls and over all gameplay.

But it lacks something severely.


A community.


There's just something about cutting down a snoby pilot and being able to throw it in their face in chat or on the forum. Because of the larger maps (time to communicate) and ability to chat -- there's just something real about Dogfight.

Fighting is much more personal.

Yeah, I don't like Cold War either. I deleted it. Like Dogfight, it's just too frustrating.

Another good thing about Sky Gamblers is that you can control the rudder. You can't do that in Dogfight.

In Dogfight, you get hit 3 or 4 times, you're plane crashes. Unless you hit the pilot, it would take a lot more than 4 shots to shoot down a plane! Well in Sky Gamblers, your plane holds up to much more than that!

Bombs. In Sky Gamblers, you dont absolutly need bombs to destroy an enemy base or hanger. In Dogfight you have to use them. In real life, you pump enough bullets into a hanger, it's gonna get destroyed.

Sky Gamblers Rise of Glory & Storm Raiders is much more realistic and much less frustrating.

I really hate Sky Gamblers. There's literally no skill involved. I was being slaughtered simply because the people who payed had A LOT more powerful guns. Plus Dogfight offers more of a challenge where you ACTUALLY have to earn you're way through, instead of buying you're way out. But if you like Sky Gamblers, good for you, bro.

Now I like Cold War but only the missions the multiplayer is total crap

Are you kidding? Playing that game takes a great deal of skill! I didnt buy any of the planes I have in Storm Raiders. I earned them! Rudder control is key in good flying. Thats something that Dogfight lacks.

Oh and another good thing about Sky Gamblers:

There's no team killing!!!
