In a bomb the carrier mission, do you see any advantage to East (Germans) over West (allies)?

I think the Germans have an advantage. I'll say why after others post their thoughts.

Either side where you see "MAGIC TIME" has an advantage.....humble?.....NAH!

Being that both teams take off from carriers they have the same distance to travel.

There are little advantages and disadvantages in all scenarios. The problem is the better more experienced players switch out when they don't have the advantage making it worse. If they all were the same it would be a little sterile (for lack of a better word) .
Watching someone quit and join and quit and join until they are on the other side isn't much fun.

Germans have a great advantage.

1. The German boat is out of tank range for its trip around the far side of the lake. There is a very short space where the boat runs on the close side that tanking is advisable. Other wise its hold fast and wait till it comes around again.

2. The Germans have an un obstructed killing field. As soon as you leave the boat you can kill the enemy from a distance.

Allied.

1. Boat is in tank range no matter where it is. You can tank any where at any time and get a hit.

2. You have to get past the mountains to kill. Tanks or planes. Lets the enemy get closer to you before you can see them.

3. The invisible wall belongs to the allied side also. Deaths on boat and in air from the wall.

The allied side gets boned in BTC.

I have noticed that there is a large stretch of water on the german side that you can drive your tank right up to the carrier and just shoot the thing at point blank for a while with out sinking. The allied side one the other hand you get near the beach on the bottom of the downside of the mountains and you sink. The mountains in my opinion are an advantage and a disadvantage you both sides in the game as well as the flat land near the german. They can be manipulated by ether team to there own advantage.

The land features don't come into really being an advantage or a disadvantage till the game gets moving and a team is on the offensive or the defensive. If you are on the offensive and the land features don't work for you then use your imagination and try something different then the same old same old approach. Your on the defense side. Well you cant blame the land for that. Skill decides the offense and the defense. The land is just to make it more interesting.

What is an advantage and a disadvantage all depends on how you play the game.

Biggest Advantage - Being on a team that already has 6 players
Biggest Disadvantage - Being the only one on your team

I know you've all been there lately..... On both sides of the fence.....

That said, I'd rather be on a team with only one other German than a team with only one other of the allies.
