That's a great idea! I'll copy your post to the moderator thread and we'll see what Joaquin says. Might not want it on this dogfightplay site, but maybe a separate website that someone sets up, kind of like some of the squads have.

To be honest on that Deleted Post Thread, Trinity was out of line, but had a right to post the opinion. It was just that an opinion, which everyone is entitled to. In my opinion it was a very narrow minded/biased opinion based on not personally knowing the people who participated in that thread. They could of chosen to ignore it, obviously they did not and felt the strong need to express it. So If you post such an opinion you better be prepared to have people respond very strongly such as Davy did! Which I am glad he did! Kudos to you,now I am crying!

Then tempers flare,virtual fights break out, Mods raid the place..just like they did in slims, a speak easy i patroned during the prohibition..and III was an adult of 45.Dirty flatfoots, always ruining a good time ,while on the take yet!..that would lead to the other bars if forum being shut down even if they had current licenses..

I don't think it's a good idea.

To be frank, people get easily butthurt on the internet. It also would be very easy to get past such a prompt by simply lying about your age or creating multiple accounts. I don't believe it to be an age restrictive thing -- there are a lot of users, regardless of age, who argue on here due to having way too much free time, hahahah.


It's simply too broad to enforce, too hard to enforce due to multiple accounts and pointless when there WILL be people getting angry at one another. Regardless of an "All adult board" or not. This would also make many underage users feel excluded and might cause a big divide in the community.


In short, everyone should bed respective, polite and inclusive to one another. Dividing up and making groups has never solved anything.

Paul, I don't think Jeff is serious! Of course there is no place in this forum for that, there are other Internet forum or blogs or whatever people are calling it these days. The forum should be for fun, sharing the plight of your latest combat battles, catching up and anything else within reason. There can't be a different section for a whole forum with an age limit, well 13+.

A divided forum will fall flat.

Actually, I took J4ff seriously. But again, I think this would be an off-site place, not a thread on dogfightplay. Just like some of the squads have. Unmoderated. Those who like things unmoderated will have great fun there, and those who dont' or aren't old enough to can have this forum here, moderated and with rules.

Basically, a place where we could say, "Hey take that one to the Other Forum please."

there will not be and it can't be an adult section on the forum. It is legal stuff guys, it clearly states the age upon registration and you can't modify the forum to allow for X age on this, Y age on that. If you really need to talk some things that are adult based (i don't understand why because tons of people like me write on forums without any need to post xxx talk), in that case, just create your own forum. Dogfight is for almost all ages and it should remain as clean as possible. There are parents playing with their kids and we don't want to ruin a family game because someone wants to talk dirty.

This forum is divided anyway.Squads having their own private sites where i guess alot of back stabbing could go on.it wouldnt be a section just filled with mindless filth.i also hope it would be quiet.it was more to keep those that feel the need to say something(could be any subject) they as an adult think may be innapropriate for general publication where minors may view.
The way this place is policed you have to think twice about sayin the tamest potty words.The ones we use in our every day life anyway.
Hey it was just thought,a way to keep the main forum clean.
I can also see the negatives that have been pointed out.

I use a motor bike forum which has the option and it works well.
But a no is a no.

i don't think we ban or moderate for the random bad words, we never do. The problem is when a whole thread goes the way certain threads have gone lately. There is a clear limit.
