Logged in yesterday and had no sound.

Played a couple of games but just didn't get on very well, couldn't hear bullets.
Asked a couple of others if their sound was working, they said it was fine.

Step one - Soft reset
Result - no change
Step two - check YouTube to see if speakers are working.
Result - Speakers are fine
Step three - Try game again
Result - no change
Step 4 - uninstall and reload
Result - no change
Step 5 - create a mini account to see if that works
Result - still silent

WHAT THE HELL ?!?!?!

Step 6 - Swith apps off from the cloud and re install again
Result - no change
Step 7 - swear and sulk for a while
Result - a little more pissed off
Step 8 - give up and walk the dog.
Result - one giant bag of dog poop and a tired dog,
Step 9 - Check the game again
Result - no change.

Not happy at all by now

Make a cuppa and feed the dog
Result - a nice cup of tea and a burping, farting dog

Step 10 - Engage brain
Step 11 - check the hard mute button isn't switched (as if) !!!!!
Result - Oh Dear !!!

Slightly embarrassing buy hey ho, thought I'd give you an example of incompetence that knows no limits !!

MORAL:

Drink a cuppa.
Feed the dog.
Take giant poop in a bag.
Burp and fart.

Brain will engage.

That's how I begin every DF game.
I just need a dog to complete engagement.
