I want to know what antique arms everyone here collects or is fascinated with. I myself have always loved Napoleonic and Colonial weapons. I have always loved those muskets with their bayonets in the American Revolution. I actually visited the Cowpens battlefield. It was amazing with the memorial and the story of the battle. I also have always liked flintlock pistols. I am currently thinking of buying a non-firing replica of Napoleon Bonaparte's flintlock. By antique weapons I mean anything prior to 1880. It can go back as far as the Crusades. I just want to know what collectible arms you all like. I'm sure there is a thread for this somewhere but I have no clue how to find it. I'm sorry if there already is one. Also I made it antique because the modern stuff isn't as amazing in my opinion. With the antiques you have the stories of the amazing people who used them in battles centuries ago. Even with a replica you can imagine it. What are your stories with things maybe passed down in your families or what you are fascinated with? I wish to know all of these amazing stories you might have. Thanks for sharing them.
