I haven't done one of these in a while, but felt inspired by the new lopsided teams phenomenon we've been seeing. I was in a game earlier and got the better of a pilot (yeah, it happens every now and then) and then he bailed. To be fair, let me describe the scenario. It started out as me against 2 reds. I met them around the 50 yard line and took them both down. I met them again at Hamburger Hill one of them had obviously "lost" his bomb and scooted around and behind me. I chased around for a few seconds and I got the second one and started juking and jiving on approach to their base. I evaded the shots from behind and scored a bomb hit on 2 hangars. Red#2 respawned and assumed the chase, while Red#1 was already chasing. I took #2 down twice, still trying to get a bead on #1. While all this was happening 4 more blues had joined (but weren't at the red base yet), admittedly making it a lopsided game. Red#2 bailed. I finally landed 2 hits on #1 and he quit before I got credit for the kill. I had mean nasty thoughts about what poor sports the 2 were for bailing. Then I gave it further consideration. I wouldn't quit in the same situation, but I guess that doesn't make it the only "fair" option. I like lopsided games with me on the underdog side, not ALL THE TIME, like it has been lately, but I stick them out. Given the pickle these guys were in, 5 against 2 with someone breathing down their necks, it might have been reasonable to say "screw it" and leave. I'm still trying to decide. What say you?

No I don't quit either. Had two back to back just a min ago. I was alone on both. One i hit the damn quit button on accident the other i was pummeled in to submission. one team mate can make for a good game 2 against the world. It is getting old though. Nice to have a good even game.

I say it's a game I'm staying besides without team mates getting in the way Mc C! I don't have to share the kills or get CRASHED into

I like it because then there is more reds to shoot

Lop sided games can be fun!

It's like playing a survival game. Just see how long you can hold out. You just may survive until support spawns in. If you don't, just make it as hard on the reds as possible.

The best stories come from overcoming the odds. Often when it seems like a forgone conclusion people give up and the chance for "heroics" is gone.

(Okay. That said, sometimes I'm just not in the mood for it.)

I don't ever quit because the odds are against me. Ever. Heck, it's just a treat now to be playing on a phone that doesn't quit by itself (that often).

I don't really care if I lose a game, and I only sorta care about my k/d ratio (it already sucks). But that exhilaration when I am able to dig deep and find The Zone and am able to beat the odds, some possibility of THAT happening makes me look forward to these loser scenarios.

Still, I do quit a lot, and people will see "Manfred has left the game" because:
- Even the S4 quits, maybe once every half hour or so. I think it's background apps loading up gradually, and then wham, one of them tramples on whatever memory conflict causes this problem on some phones. Hate it. I always try to find my game again! Once I had killed 3 planes, and there were 3 tanks heading for my base, and then the phone quit! Crap! But I found the game again : )
- I get inspired by the posts about spawnkillers like mustache / pringles guy, and I go searching for them.
- I see blacklist posts saying that some banned players are still able to play, and I go searching to see if banning using in-game controls does something different than the web mod panel.
- I enter lopsided games and quit to try moving to the other side. But I usually say so before I go.
- And then there's the Crash into someone head-on, and hit the Quit button inadvertantly.

I rarely bail on a lopsided game, but I will if the tone is nasty. If I'm getting killed with good humor and encouragement from the foe, I'll stay and take my lumps, because I'm having fun. If the enemy are asses, I won't give them the privilege of plucking my feathers.

Why its only little me asking Zup forever to implement an algorithm for the servers to keep track of how many reds and blues each game have?????

OK, I don't bail because of being outnumbered. Never did it. In fact, one of my memorable games was me and a rookie (even worse skilled than me) against 6 bad guys, and we managed to bring 7 hangars down - and we lost the game when I was covering my teammate - he was tanking and aiming for the last hangar. I felt like a hero. Real fun. Ok. OK... OK! But these one-sided games are occurring WAY TOO OFTEN!
And in the majority of time, I announce that I will try to switch sides when I am on the populated one - unless I am near the end of a 4 vs 4 game that became a 6 vs 2 just before the end. You all understand that, after landing 4-5 bombs himself, is hard to switch sides...

But I repeat: I NEVER BAIL. I got used to be shot forever in a row. You can tell by my horrible K/D ratio.
But in other hand, I REALLY CAN'T STAND THE FACT THAT THE SERVERS ARE NOT CAPABLE OF SPREAD THE PLAYERS EQUALLY THROUGH THE TWO TEAMS!!!!

I am at a point to begin another struggle with Zup for this, but this 6-2 and 7-1 games are getting my NERVES!

I have a big problem with this loop side games. I can't quit them even if I don't have the time. Only exception is if I'm at work.
Thing is I refuse to be a quitter because of unfair ods.
And I don't complain. I can say something like Ohh this is going to hurt.
Hopefully if you stick it out the blue will eventually show up and save your behind from further whopping.

It gets on my nerves when people start with the "nice" and "good job" when it's 6 vs 1 against me. Really, was it that hard??? But I don't quit the games ... But, my phone so often does for me. This last update is killing me though. I think I may uninstall and reinstall. Others say its fine, but for me my performance has gone from ok to pathetic since downloading it.

I guess it depends. Is that a 6ft Rattlesnake coming in the window or a 5&1\2ft pist off bull snake? ether way the arge will be there to bail.

Okay, let me give you my experience based on my play, so I can not advise anyone or give cause to advise anyone here or even say what is right or wrong. All I can do is tell you how I view it from my experience and my temperament (which by the way is swayed by my experience that take place in that particular game, so it really can not be said for every game I play, because my experience changes with every game I spawn into, Savvy?).

So I will vent instead and sort of Hijack this thread. But my experience/view will sort of relate to the question which was posed in the title of this thread, so the pertinence or relevance will slightly lean towards the title as my experience and view of it comes around to the point or question regarding the naming of this thread. Yes I know run on sentence, I have that problem, so just bare with me!

So here it goes! These lopsided servers, bomb drooopperrss (in lopsided games I will call them that on the advantaged team), then the base circling after when there are only two of us or in some cases one, is a real annoyance. Do you really need to protect five or six others coming in for a bomb drop???????Realllyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Every game, 2 vs. the rest of the world and those guys pull scheiiiittttttt like that. Very Poooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr form, in my book!!!!!!!!!

I am also tired of trying to switch sides to even it up. Most of the time the guy I try to help by switching sides, quits and he spawns back in again as red or just does not come back. I understand if you hit quit by mistake or loose connection. Schiieeett happennsss! Problem is if I hit quit or loose connection, I have trouble remembering what server I am on to spawn back into that same game.

So to be honest, I do not mind the un-even games, just as long as the other team does not pull the bomb drop scheit or base camping scheit. I think in time there will be more players that will end up carrying, will stop camping, the more the servers make it un-even, well one can hope anyway.

So this Person (Me), will play lopsided games, both on advantaged or dis-advantaged team. Will try to switch depending how many times I have already attempted to switch without losing the server I was originally on.

It all comes down to one simple thing. It is My ^Free time and I will spend it trying to have fun. I will take my lumps, will take my rewards and will bail if I see dumb scheit moves done. I am not here to Lecture or tell anyone what to do or how to play their game. Not my business, I do not own the game(yes I spend 4.99 plus more for points on upgrades and to help Echoboom, but that entitles you to play the game) and not my role. Everyone plays in their ^Freetime, I think, and should spend it the way they want(within reason of course).

So do we hold one another accountable(not hugging)to a Moral code, what moral code should that be?

My Moral is I will give the dis-advantaged team more advantages than if it were a non-advantaged play. I will bail if there are more than three reds just circling the base making their runs at the runway. I see absolutely no point when one comes at you from the front, the second one comes at you from the rear within a few seconds and the third is just circling above the runway. That is just pointless. They want the win that bad, you can have it, they are obviously not going to let you up, so great game for you. Wooohhooooo you won, High Five, Drinks at The Swamp, Congratzzzz, Yeaaa Baby, You Did It!!!!

So do you want to be stuck in a game you know you are not going to enjoy and brings more frustration to you?

Some like it that way, others do not. So bail, do not bail, get frustrated, laugh, cry, vent to a loved one, team-mate, squad-member, start a Forum Thread under Gossip, hug someone, call someone when you know they are playing the game and then get back in and shoot some reds! Because you know in the end, you will be back playing

Yep M4rtin , that about sums it up. You let out the part where someone feels the need to fly high and wide to bomb . Sortie makes me feel good that they think I'm that good,so that they try and stay out of my gun sights.

You are that good. But then compared to me, so is everyone else in the higher-level game.

Usually don't bail if its lopsided, but I ain't hanging on to my bomb either....full defense mode til the lights go out...

If I'm on the heavy side, I will bail to try and switch.
I get nothing out of a one sided slaughter.

If I'm the "one" I'll stick around and do what I can but when some are clearly not carrying and I end up capped, I see no reason why I should boost their stats.
I'll either bail or sit on the runway.

I like the lopsided games when I'm on the low side. It's fun and helps me develop skill. Like they always say, try, try, again.

when it's many against one or two, the smaller side can have a field day, no pressure on them, and they are usually in defence mode which means no need for bomb, or to wonder too far from their base, red just keep coming into the meat grinder.

I'm frustrated by game design flaws and the aholes that exploit it. I took a break for three weeks. This morning the first server put me in an FFA. I didn't even make to the end of the runway. A punk spawned behind me held his throttle back waited for me to get ahead then shot me. As I turned to see which punk shot me in the back on takeoff I looked up to see a half a dozen aircraft in a furball right above us. I said "wait till I get off runway" and left. I know for a fact this and other problems ingame r going to scare off potential pilots/money. There are some great fighter sims in the very near future that are going to be giveing us quality gaming thats FUN to play online not turn u into a raging psychopath. Your going to need a fast and powerful android and the latest ios if your an igadget user. I've been checking a couple of new ones out and they blow this away. Mid level phones can have this one. Missing points I bought and points I earned have not registered for past couple of days. The list of bs goes on. Another reason I've been pumping money into two new combat sims is everyone gets the same kind of aircraft. No IAP scam makeing you buy upgrades etc. Hell, c.h.a.o.s wants $20 for a second best choppers and $100 for a year of chopper upgrades. I dumped those bums. Good chopper sim btw. But greedy as hell. This has some good people to fight and banter with and they deserve better than this. Imho Jim out...
