Really tasty stripes! Thanks for the pics....and thank you everybody for your wishes. Was reading Bell's bleary eyed joy when I still had 150k (or more) to go and wondered what it would be like.
Frankly, I can tell you.....it (or rather me) represents the triumph of mediocrity and stubbornness over talent. It is such boost and joy to get to the top....and then realise, you're at the bottom of the top.....ho hum! It's still a nice paint job.
Seriously, thank you all (well most of you...cos there were a couple of guys who blew me away on the runway with a tank)... We're all different but this a great place and community to escape to...as long as the miss us isn't home. Theo, I sympathise .....mines away travelling at the moment...if not it would have taken me at least a week to get here. Won't be playing tomorrow though ; the place looks like shyte and her flight comes it at 9:00pm LOL. Cheers all....I'd buy you a beer if I could.

Aw Dane...you sacrificed yourself to help me on my way....I'll always be grateful. (it was possibly the finest game I ever experienced....we were outnumbered and we lost, but we gave a good account of ourselves)....!

You both did yourselves proud, it was like flying into a wall, we all finished with negative stats, you two were both nearly 4/1 positive.
Without a doubt, the best "Alamo " defence I've seen since i started playing.

Yup, that's my scoot. 1967 Vespa sprint, looks better in the photo's.
In reality it's a bit tired and will soon be stripped back to the frame for a complete overhaul.

And many thanks for that awesome FUN game yesterday evening. Although we were outnumbered we gave the red players the hell of a good battle. I think this was my first game ever when every red said someting like "very well done reds" at the end. It is always a honour and a pleasure to fly with you and yesterday evening we both gave our best to defend the base.
