I second that emotion, except for the android part. I'm on an IPad.
Same dealio, though. Brakes first so I don't move; quick scan for reds; hit the throttle; release brakes. If someone spawns, throttle to 50% til I see what his prop is doing. If its spinning madly, he's going, so I just sit and wait til he goes. If its just fluttering, he's not going, so I blast off by releasing the brake.
This works 99% of the time for me. Then there's the times where team blue is taking a blood bath, and the spawn point is nothing more than an exploding meat grinder.
