I know, I know.... I've seemed to be a man looking for a cause lately.

Consider this a Public Service Announcement. I won't spam the forum each day for this one, but still want to let everyone know.

May is Teacher Appreciation Month. If you have kids in school or you are a kid in school, take a moment at some point this month to do a little something for that teacher that goes the extra mile.

Any show of appreciation will mean the world to them. It could be something as as small as a handwritten note or card to say "thanks!" If you want to a little more, here's some suggestions. gift cards- Starbucks, Walmart, teacher supply stores or
a little snack or office supplies- pens, sticky notes or water bottle/cup (they love Tervis Tumblers and they make 'me with teacher themes) or any little thing you can think of.

Just take the time to thank them. Remember these folks make sacrifices everyday for their students. They take work home nearly every day and most of them care for their students nearly as much you do.

You don't even have to "buy" something. Write a little note (just don't pass it in class) to say thanks for you do. It will out a smile on a face... I guarantee it!

How about i buy something and attach a little note to it.
My history and language arts teachers are the best and they are crazy.

teachers these days are very under estimated.

OK Parrot, GOOD teachers do need bigging up so I have changed my avator to Kelly Joe Phelps, an acomplished finger picking slide guitarist from Washington State, teaching a newbe how to play guitar. Magic! I have experience of teaching and it is thankless for the input required, but the smiles, odd compliment and thank you lifted me up to cloud 9! So I want to thank some of my teachers.... (In no particular order)....
