Sometimes I feel confused about the ranking. Following stat is from the table Top Wing Commander I players, 1:50pm EST, 4/28.

Top #, Name, # of kills, # hangars bombed, # of deads, # crashed, Won Games
#11, Shelby123456789, 43, 34, 685, 575, 72,
#21, Chupapollas, 1849, 424, 871, 297, 114,

Chupapollas killed more and won more games than Shelby123456789. But why is his ranking lower?

It's only cumulative points. The higher rank has banked more points. Nothing in the stats determines your tank. It's the points. It's only the points.

Oh yeah.... It's the points.

If you kill 100 people and crash.... No points. You kill one plane and land or chute safely to the ground.... 50 points.

Nope... It's the points, just the points and only the point.

Note how you earn points... Kills, bombs, wins. You must also "lock" those points. Landing or chuting or they don't count. Avoid crashing and autodestroying if you're concerned with points. Also getting shot in the chute steals your points.


But your ranking has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with anything except your cumulative earned/locked points.

Is it true that while in a parachute you get 25 points for every somersault you do in the air and 35 points if land safely on one foot. Also I heard that if you land safely in a tree and climb down without falling that's good for 75 points. If you land near enough to a base and capture a mechanic that's good for 100 points, but only if you beat him up. Complicated rules!

Hey PAUL, Besse quit last week, she was tired of all the drunk pilots and doing their dirty work. Now they got this skinny weak gal. Just pick on the small mechanics, they are easier to beat up.
