I had to make a thread title, the kiddies would look at. Sorry to disappoint, but this is a bit of a Public Service Announcement.

I was in a game with a younger player earlier and was.... Well something more than disturbed. He was chatting and telling folks a lot of personal information. DO NOT DO THAT!!! He was flying under a name that was obviously his, first and last. DO NOT DO THAT!!!. He was telling folks the name of his middle school. DO NOT DO THAT!!!

I explained to him ingame that it was a bad idea. I know all of us here on the forum seem like a bunch of great guys, nice people blah blah blah. The truth is you DO NOT really know us. It's sad, but the world is full of really scary people that just cannot wait to do really bad things. Trust me when I say don't trust me or anyone else. Do not give personal information out in the game or here on the forum or anywhere on the Internet, especially if somebody is trying to ask for it. Good Lord! Do not throw it out there voluntarily for any creep to see.

Feel free to joke around with the guys ingame and here on the threads, but always think before you do. Do not make it easy for the creepers

I'm sure the moderators would agree with me on this. If somebody does try to get your personal information, don't give it out.
Instead send Private Message to a moderator. Give them the details and let them handle it.
