I have had this game for a couple of days and think its brilliant. My congratulations to the developer.

I am finding it difficult to get used flying and dogfighting but I guess that will come with time.

Could anyone give me some tips for the playing game to help get me going. Especially dogfighting and shooting people down. All ive managed to do so far is clip someones wing :(

Many thanks

Hello CTR,

Firstly, in a dogfight when you take off release your bomb as the weight of it reduces your speed and manoeuvrability.
As for accuracy, it takes alot of time and patience, kept a steady hand and if they're flying straight aim slightly below the middle of their name. Having said that, there are a few players with dots, lines and spaces in their name which makes that method harder, but start there and see how you get on.

As I side note, when you settle into the game and the addiction takes hold feel free to click on DogFight Elite on the top right of this thread and make a pledge to help fund the development of the new version which will be bigger and better.

Good luck and I look forward to seeing you in the sky.

RichyRoo

EDIT:- as for clipping their wings, if it works and its the last means of defence, go for it!!! :silly:

Thank you for the advice. I'll give it a go.

I think also the size of my phone screen doesnt help. Playing on a tablet might be better!

Thanks again.

When he says df...he means the dog fight mission. Bombing games...I usually hold mine until needed.

How does the coin scoring work?

I assume you get money for a kill?

What do you get coins for and how much for each?

I'll probably regret this, but I'm a helluva nice guy. When targeting I do not put my target in the center of the sites. It's always seemed a little off. I center the target left to right, but actually try to put the windshield arc in the sight on my target. It's like aim a little high to compensate for the projectiles fall. In the pic below you can see the sights and the windscreen. I put the target right at the edge of the screen or maybe between the screen and the top of the center circle. Good lord... I feel like I'm babbling. Does this make sense at all?

Ok let me try again. The arrow shows where I put my target most of the time.

Try changing your view setting from basic to realistic.

How do I do that. I hit the yellow camera top right and switch between two views. Behind the plane and gun sites.

It's under settings, where you do the calibration.
Try different settings in practice mode and see which you like.
