Thanks, Richy, but I am just materialising, on this weird post, my equaly weird taste for Chess matters. The complete name is Magnus Carlsen, the most talented Chess prodigy of these days. This week, he managed to "buy his ticket" to face the World Chess Champion Viswanathan Anand in the match that will take place in the 2nd semester of 2013 for the world Chess crown.
About Ivanchuk, he is the guy that helped Carlsen to buy his ticket with an unlikely last victory against former world champion Vladimir Kramnik.

I know who they are but I don't cheer for Chess...I played chess before dogfight...I prefer dogfight. Not to mention the whole "makes you crazy" bit....My fave is Tal with his mind control

To quote a cliche: "Chess is not game, is not art, is not science".
And for almost all chess players, once the chess bug bites you, you play it for the rest of your life...

Oh it bit me but it made me tooo angry...dreaming of positions etc. I got to about an estimated real rating of say 1300 since my online rating was like 1550
