Blessed Eastern to everyone of You!

This pic was taken just a moment ago. Burning these big fires is old Eastern traditio here. Origin of this habit is on burning witches. Nowadays theres no much (any more...) witches around so we have to burn these fires without. I've heard that some of my forefathers suffered death on this kind of event somethimes around year 1600.

Nice my Finnish friend. Here in the states we hide "Easter Eggs" on Sunday morning as part of our tradition. Coincidentally, tomorrow is also the 1st of April which we call April Fool's Day. Traditionally everyone plays small pranks with everyone. So, in the morning I think I'm going to tell the kids to find the eggs (that I didn't hide). See.... I am a Mean Old Man!
Fuck this place. Second rate hack playing in a yard that's too big for him.

I have a friend who is from Alabama. He asked me today if my daughters would come to search eastern eggs with their daughter. I had never seen egg hunt before so I didn't know what to expect. I understood it is usually done outside but theres still too much snow. It was new experience to my kids and they seemed to like it.

Thanks for reminding aprils fool. I would have forgotten...

Here's an Easter Egg Karma for everyone.

As my friend's 8 year old daughter described it:

"It looks like God wants the world to feel better."

Ah man funny thing. I spent hours burning tumble weeds today. Pile after pile after pile of them. It was a windy day yesterday and of course they came a rollin in.
Also happy Easter every one. Remember to not forget the true meaning.

Man, if we lit something like that around here, the whole county would go up in a puff of smoke. Like back in 2007, wildfire got over 200K people evacuated, and the fire front went right through our neighborhood (sparing our street however) (thanks firefighters!) (they had more than a little to do with that sparing).

Happy Easter, for those of you who celebrate. We had a nice mass today, got there really early to get parking, never seen the place so packed!

Manfred
