Hey guys I recently wrote a review on Dogfight in the App Store
i think it wold be great if we all wrote one o our stores to try and get more people to play

what do you guys think?

Great idea Dig! I posted something similar a couple of months ago. There are a lot of folks that get the game and play the practice missions until the trial runs out and then blast the app because its not completely free. Or better yet, some d-bag that gets banned or muted for a justifiable reason will go leave negative feedback. So, as Dig requested and did, please go leave a review in the App Store (I'm sure there's an android equivalent too) and let folks know how great the game is. Feel free to explain that purchasing after the free trial is well worth the cost. It's the new people that start playing and keep the money trickling to Z that keeps the game going. If we let the negative nancies rule the reviews it will hurt the game, echoboom and you.

I wrote a review for the android store many months ago. All positive things, the game deserves that!

Yupp, done.

Last week an aspirant asked me if it was worth upgrading to the pay version!

I said, "Sonny, in my day we had to pay up front!"

About 1% of registered players make it past wing commander. I find this insane!!

Sometimes when im in a game with seven aspirants I'll say, "Gee whiz, did this game go on sale, or what?!"

Where did you get that percentage?

apparently there are over 3 million users of DF (source echoboom's Facebook announcement), not sure how many ever go beyond the first practice mission.

I've left feedback on Google Play, and the Apple Store.

Hmmm, Manfred said last week there were over 200,000 registered players. If you want to know yourself; find an aspirant in game. Then look up his stats on the ranking list. Then look at his rank. Thats how many players there are give or take a few thousand.

Ok so I found some aspirants in game.

BigZ ranked about 119,000.

The top aspirant Efrer9 is ranked 32,836.

So only 32,000 people have even made it past aspirant, ya dig?

So if we take Manfreds info that there are about 200,000 players,

And I noted recently a wing comander who I was blacklisting was ranked about 2,000....

Then you can see that one in a hundred players are ranked higher than wing comander.

Make sense?

thats because they get slatered by spawnkillers all the time, so they never play again, they cant even get off the ground to pratice. I seen it happen by some of our coolest piolts, wont mention any names we all know who they are. They think it will make them better but if you cant even make a left turn how are they gonna get any better. So they just leave and never come back let alone pay for the game.
