I can understand your concern. We all have issues with this great game, but sometimes we have to live with the imperfections in dogfight.......The game gets better and better through time. We just have to be patient and wait. I dislike the lag, multiple shots to shoot down a red, glitch, lead in my fuel tank (makes my plane very slow at times), coffee is never served on time, the rations that my parachuting soldier has is nasty and etc...These issue will by no means, keep me from playing....well maybe the coffee issue...Anyway, I do love this game and will never stop playing and I always enjoy helping make the game better.........Be patient.....great things are coming....

Don't get frustrated buddy. It's just plain ol'lag ruining your day again. Being that it's Saturday and lag is especially worse on the weekends when everyone's on, this does not surprise me at all. If the game is particularly laggy, I'll just leave. If it's just one or two reds, hit and run is the best approach. It may take a while but they most often times go down...eventually...next week...

Stuart, you've gotta relax about the imperfections of DF. They're there, and until DF starts making money for Echoboom, instead of taking their revenue, we have to deal with only having one developer to fix our problems. Tell your friends, tell your co-workers, tell everyone. Get one guy to buy the game and you're that much closer.

Whats tragic is that often problems like this are coming from the players end and the game's reputation suffers from such complaints.

Im not saying that's the case for Stuart or any one else's similar problems; for all I know you are an IT expert and you are positive your device and connection are tip-top. But many problems on the user end can effect gameplay.

How many apps are booted up?
Could your location services be killing your data stream every 60 seconds? (Mine were.)
Do you ingage in virus risky browsing on your device?
Do you have a reliable connection? (When I play my wifi lag is down vs. ATT 4G.)
Are you running an outdated operating system?

I hope gives some options to some of you frustrated users.
I would be very sad if I couldn't get in a fair game, too.

What's wrong with an unfair game? It's fun, unless you're on the winning side.

I've come to find that lag/disconnections vary between devices. Like it was said before, the problem may be coming from your end.

I've got a fairly strong wi-fi network, but when I try to play with my iPhone3, the lag is terrible (the phone's fault, it's several years old and the RAM can't take it anymore). But when I play on my Kindle Fire, the game works like a charm.

My advice? If you can, try to find ways to optimimize connections through your end, see if that helps. If this isn't possible, just be patient. Z is smoothing out the edges of this game all the time. I had to wait a couple weeks for a fix on a major problem with the Kindle Fire platform, but it was taken care of in the end!

Because this is not the norm with the game, but it does happen and it can be upsetting. Bt the games still a fun place to be

This hardly happens to me due to me having the new iPad with Retina Display.When I played on an iPod though it ran terribly.On iPad 2 it showed the pixels that the plane is made of when I dragged my finger across screen to check my tail.That was a bit weird.The newer the device you have the better it runs.
