Okay Hamers, for me to make you an admin, I have to trust that you really want to help out the website, and not just be in it for the power.

We need people to build, run, and maintain the website itself. An admin would have to be trustworthy and dependable, they have power and control over the entire website.Administrators write and organize the pages on the website and the project itself, and will be doing a great deal of computer time. Admins will be in charge of final-checking pages before they are published on the site. An administrator will have a lot of responsibility, and there will be a limited number of them.


As admin, not only will you be maintaining the website, but you'll be writing the pages directly to the website. I need someone mature, well-written, and with integrity.

Help out with the more basic things so I can see you truly want to be of assistance.

Look at my original post. See all of those guides that are unassigned? Pick one.

I need TONS of help for the actual writing of the guide.

Any screenshots you think will be helpful, post them on the thread. Don't worry about revelancy, I'll sort through them.

You'll need to explain the concept of the squads, as well as how to create/join a squad. I'd also recommend making a list of official squadrons as reference (sticky'd squadrons).

I'd reccomend typing this out on some kind of word processor, then send the document to me so I can have an administrator publish it to the site.

Ok like what squadron fits you.A non biased description of each squadron and how to join and create. I'm on it. I will start writing tonight.

Ok I guess this isn't the best tieme for me to do it. I'm in hot water with my parents and I need to waot for things to cool down. I do want to help a lot. I just won't be much help right now. But if you nedd a article or something pm me and I'll write it asap. I can do a article on the history of developement seeing as I have been here for a long time and seen it grow??

I have completed the squadrons and joining a squadron article. It was a lot of work. Sent a lot private messages and took a lot of screenshots. luna won't have it on the website until around 5 days from now because she on vacation i think.

I won't be able to update the website or type up more guides l, but I can still check in on my mobile phone, like I am now.

The help guide has not been completed or even close to completion because Luna had been busy and I'm not very good with computers. I just learned how to edit the website lol. If anyone wants to help please send me a private message.

It's been a while since this was made and little progress had been made since then but It can be completed. I think the website is a great idea.

Okay, so this idea has probably been tossed around before, but some other members and I thought it would be great to make this a reality. A separate site, an unofficial guide to Dogfight.

This website would be written and maintained by the player community, and will stand as a reference to DF only. No socialization should take place there, it stands as a “view only” kind of site. Also, as of current, each administrator must have a Google Drive account, to be able to publish pages on the site. An administrator will have a lot of responsibility, and there will be a limited number of them. If you are serious about helping, and want to be an admin of this project, post so on this thread, and we will look into it.

Writers

This will make up the majority of the workforce in the building of this website. Loads of content needs to be written for this guide. Output needs to be thorough, and well-written (See the alpha pages of the guide for examples of what we need). Proper grammar/syntax, as well as a good knowledge of the game itself is needed. If you are interested in helping write a specific part of the guide, post on this thread. We will give you instructions on what needs to be written.

Photographers

To make this guide good, we need screenshots, and good ones, too. If you spend a lot of time in-game, and wouldn’t mind taking some useful pictures every now and then, this would be a nice position. We need specific pictures, so there will be specific missions/game modes that will need to be photographed. If you are interested, post on this thread.

We need all the help we can get to make this work! If you have any ideas -- anything at all, post them here, too!
