It was brought to my attention the other day during a zep game that not only am I not the only pilot I'm am also not the only civil air patrol cadet
Any others other than me and the other player? Dont remember the name at the moment

I'm not in the CAP, but I'm in a smaller, lesser known program called the Young Marines.

Our unit has had the pleasure of having several annual joint activities with CAP Squadron 144 here in San Diego. They are really awesome people! My closest friend in Senior Leadership School was a cadet. :)

I'll have to leave the Young Marines this year once I graduate high school, but I'll be glad to leave as Gunnery Sergeant in the unit.

I was a Marine for eight years.... that was after my time in the CAP, but I am familiar with the young Marines program. There was a YM unit at the Marine Barracks here in Washington, DC when I was stationed there in the middle/late 80's
