Well I've been getting into WWI Planes and I think its about time someone made Dogfight in 3D. So my chalange is to build a 1:72 scale model of Dogfight. Firstly I bought two Revell kits, one a Sopwith Camel, and the famous S.E.5a. I'll post photos later.

Here the first pic

Also I have now made a tank. Here it is

OK i'm back home now good quality and unlimited broadband

Once I get four tin cans I'll make the hangers by cutting them in half and then using cardboard I will paint the runway, one thing that will be hard is modeling the buildings in dogfight

Another Pic

The tank is not finnished as it still needs a bit of black and rust colour paint to make it look good and also the very important rubber tracks that go on last

OK here is the Albatross

Ah. I build a Dumas Pilatus Porter once out of balsa and heatshrink tissue paper. Fully working 1:32 model. Crashed on it's first flight. I may have it laying around somewhere still. I made it for my Senior Project.

If your wondering why it crashed, it is because the controls reversed once it got into the air. left was left and right was right on the ground, but once it took off, left was right and right was left.

When I was younger(a lot younger) we built B17 & B29 from wood kits, you can't find those anymore, They would have the bombs moving props the works. But back then that was still the newest technology. But your doing a good job there it brings back some memories
I could care....But I dont

Yeah Dave. Lotsa balsa wood models for me too. The plastics were just starting to come out as the norm. I used to love the ship models. I can't tell you how many I made and just turned around and destroyed. I would finish a model and keep it around until I got another. Then I'd take it down to the boat ramp and float it. When I could get my hands on fire works, I'd strap bottle rockets to em and have a rocket powered carrier. Or I would use fire crackers or "real" M80s to blow em all the pieces. When I didn't have pyrotechnics I used BB and Pellet rifles. I was a destructive little bugger.
Fuck this place. Second rate hack playing in a yard that's too big for him.
