There's a plethora of creativity and imagination in this forum, so I decided to create a thread where we can display and appreciate our work. I'll be updating periodically, and will include all original images worthy of appreciation.

Been working on this for about 20 minutes now. Time for a break to dogfight for a while.

An app called Sketchbook Mobile. I'm pretty sure you can find it on both Android and Apple appstores. It cost me $4, but it is well worth it, and surprisingly powerful for a mobile application.
I'd recommend a stylus if you want to do serious work. |

Okay, here's a really quick one I did, inspired by the area outside of the Dogfight map. You know the tannish "desert" area, where you auto-destroy if you try to enter it?
I like to think of it as a barren, irradiated wasteland, forsaken by God long ago, through millennia of mindless Dogfighting. When one area is spent off, the planes move on to the next, caught in a vicious and violent cycle, for all of eternity. I call it the Badlands. |

Hey guys! I have another something that I made for fun. This here is the Fokker that we use in-game:
After painting it, I decided to add a sepia filter to give it a sort of "ragtag" feel to it. I think it turned out pretty well. I'll be making more stuff like this soon, and I'm looking forward to seeing more creative works from the rest of the forums! ...I think I'll do a Sopwith next. Stay tuned! |

Took me an hour or so, and I think it turned out well. I'll walk you guys through my process:
Preliminary sketch, basically planning out the drawing. 
Added proper outlines. 
Color! 
Added fine details.
Final lighting effects, signature, and it's done! I think I'll call it "Runway Rush". We've all seen this scene; a zeppelin only several hundred feet away, you've gotta get in the sky ASAP and shoot that bad boy down. Cross your fingers and fire away! |
