#1, only shot players that appear red, and don't spawn kill others will blow you apart.
#2, when your in a dogfight game, loose the bomb,(After you take off) this will give you more speed
#3, when you spawn in to a game and there's nobody on the other team (no reds) make your bomb runs. It maybe your only chance.
#4, your going to get shot down (Alot !) that's part of the game so keep the vulgar language to yourself, it will get you banned.
#5, more than anything else, your here to have fun. Remember that, we all are.
#6, talk to others they don't bite and will most likely help you if asked.
#7, when you go into a head on fight with Anybody! Your best if not ONLY chance for a kill is to line up on them and keep Fireing IF you last long enough to run out of ammo go try to bomb. But only shoot when you have a target this helps.
#8, the map at the bottom center of your screen tells you where what is,ie north base, south base, west carrier, east carrier and the red dots are your enemy that's within Fireing range (you can be shot).
#9, NEVER and I mean Never pass a tank by if it's red, it'll ruin your whole day if it makes it to your base. :(
#10, if you get shot down and bail out when you hit the ground use the gray button on right to spin around till you see a tank, walk towards it. When you reach it you in it. Use map to find direction of enemy base/carrier so you don't bomb your own base/carrier
These are only a few things that will make your dieing more tolerable till you develop some skill in flying, landing, and killing.
I hope this helps, good luck and happy hunting.. Doc.

Just a suggestion, you may want to fix up the grammar usage in the rules. It may be confusing at times to read them.

It seems to me that a lot of the violators of Rule !, are first time players, and since they don't usually respond when you talk to them, I'm wondering what nationality they may be. So in that spirit, here's a repeat of Rule 1: :)

Rule #1; Only shoot red planes
Regla # 1: sólo disparar a los aviones rojos
Regel Nr. 1: Nur die schießen rote Flugzeuge
القاعدة # 1؛ تبادل لاطلاق النار فقط طائرات الأحمر
Règle n ° 1; seulement tirer sur les avions rouges
规则#1,只拍红色飞机
Regel # 1: Alleen te schieten rode vliegtuigen
Rheol # 1; Dim ond saethu awyrennau coch
Mamuno # 1, shoot lang ang mga pulang eroplano
Regel # 1, bara skjuta röda plan
Zasada # 1, tylko strzelać czerwone samoloty
Riail # 1; ach shoot planes dearg
Pravidlo # 1; pouze střílet červené letadla
Regel # 1, kun skyde røde fly
Rule # 1, Csak lőni vörös gépek

OK, no excuses!

P.S. I couldn't find a translator for Brits, Aussies, Kiwis, or Canadians, so someone pass this along to them.

LOL, how so?

And to answer your question about the insignia that was on my avatar: that was the insignia of an Operations Specialist in the Navy. It's what I'm planning to be when I join.

I actually knew that... Old navy guy here. Was just curious. Before you sign up, lemme PM you some stuff you should know. Recruiters are nice guys  and they'll tell ya everything (yeah right!). It's still a good move tho. Wouldn't give up my years in for anything. Os isn't a bad rate, depending on your duty stations. Well that's enough hijacking this thread. I'll send ya some other stuff later.

Tex is the offial (misspelled intentionally, see the I'm sorry thread title) grammar queen of MOM.

Dear Dr. DAVE,

You evidently haven't met Ms. LUNA. If I may...she is one of the most articulate, well-read people here. She's creative and helps more than most. She is THE CLASS here.
You should have said, "So Paul could understand." It would have been more accurate.

Your sincerely,
Paul

Paul, Yall should know by now I will pick on anybody I certainly ment no disrespect towards Miss Luna but after re-reading it I can see where she may have thought I was, I'll say it now, Mis Luna I ment you no disrespect in my last post and offer you my most Hreat felt apologies if you feel you've been wronged. But understand there are many 10 & 12 yo's on here and after raising 5 of my own and basically 6 others belonging to neighbors I try to talk to them on a level I feel they better grasp. As for the older folks like myself and Paul as long as dinners on time we don't care how it's worded, :) but i am sorry if I've hurt your feelings in anyway that was not my intent. Thank you and hope we'er still on texting terms.

There's no reason to apologize, I completely understand. I may have been out of place in my previous post, and that would be on me.

Here on Dogfight, we're all equal, yes? :)

Don't worry. I'm sure I can handle grown-up talk.

I dont care about "proper english" either, i hate english class too, i dont understand why people need to learn proper english. People understand hulk and he doesn't speak proper english. And no one uses proper english either. English class is overrated

Early morning...3 am (eastern)...enter mission...alone.
Moments later...3-6 newer pilots arrive...several I know.
We all head to the bridge...as we "Barnstorm"...I tell them about the DF underground...the hidden treasure...the secret railroad......

I often see new guys flying with bombs in dogfight mission and capture the carriers. Drop them for better speed and aerobatics. :-)
