Now that y'all have been playing for months and maybe years and have all the planes and upgrades, which do you prefer and why/when. I often see higher ranks flying in lower level planes (based on star ratings) and wonder why.

i ditch the SE5 and fly the spad at times because it's nice to test your skill when you don't have the advantage of a better plane.

Baron tri plane and se5 for me some times spad. Noticed some folks flying albatross with white and grey paint scheme does that plane come with higher rank ?

Top rank 31 gets the new paint job.

I play with all. I earned them. All have advantages & disadvantages. Depends on the game. Roll of the dice. You get better...explore.

I jump around from plane to plane just to keep the interest payments down.
and it gives the new players a better chance to enjoy the game.

I like the niuport IX and the triplanes because they're really good for head on (and sopwith).but for the pro planes they're really jumpy.

Fav planes- albatross is the best on german side, and spad is the best on the Soviet side, spad is the best plane to use for head on because it fires so fast, it also had good speed and turns well. Se5a is faster but spad turns better and its good for head on and turn. Albatross is the fastest and turns the best on german side. Btw if spad was as fast as the albatross then that would be the best plane in the game.

I love that plane

Se5 in my opinion is the prettiest plane. I love the look of the wings. Will choose that every time iam allied. You pull back the throttle a little in head ons, drop the speed a bit, and she is very accurate. I like the speed because you can't always get the parachute after you win a shoot out. Often you leave a tank, in order to finish the bomb run. and this plane allows you a good chance of catching back up to, and shooting him up. Hate having to kamikaze crash in order to re-spawn back at base to intercept tank because you couldn't catch him on the return trip. But all the planes are good as long as they are upgraded.

Ummmm.I think it is called the Allied side so I own all the Allied planes.You guys just rent them.

Yeah, no soviet planes on here...just German, British, and French. I pretty much stick to flying the top an bottom tier planes, hardly ever find myself in the neuport, spas, or e111.

Yea i don't use the spad because i hate switch plane order, not sure how to put it. But i wish we could put a default plane on both sides

BOMER: Your default planes should be the first 2 we get, with subtle differences: No wheels. No wings. No engine. Then I will have a chance against you.

a revamped blinged out spad would make a perfect 200,000 plane if Z is considering something

I remember sstarting a thread long time ago hailing the spad as the best plane in the game. I was a group captain then with no Se5 or albatross and a negative dogfight account (oh yes, remember that glitch). I have all the planes now, and my opinion has not changed

Wish we could pick the colors or add some art work to the planes would be cool to customize em. Flying circus style.

I think I'll start using my Spad more often.

I don't much care for the Spad. Even after flying the hell out of it for awhile after seeing Bomber and others sing its praises. To me it seems heavy and sluggish. Course, it could be lag ...

I like the Nieuport and the red tripe though. Very nimble. But out of habit I usually fly the maxed-out se5a and albatros, the muscle cars of DF.
